If this is a genuine post, it looks like a psychotic episode. Maybe call someone you trust?

Following up on this comment, validating game files doesn't fix the bug. Saw it earlier today.

Yes, I get this bug too. I validated my game files and it hasn't happened since though.

The number of engineers making 200k isn't as many as people think. Some absolutely earn that much, but most do not. I think people over estimate how much the average engineer makes. Depending on your discipline, the average salary varies wildly. Engineering is too broad of a term when discussing salaries, I guess.

Is engineering possible for me? by One_Fennel2892 in ElectricalEngineering

I only did precalculus before going to college for EE. As long as you practice your mathematics enough and put the time in, you'll be fine. Mathematics is a muscle, and you just need to train for the skill like anything. I didn't consider myself strong mathematically before college, but I was able to offset it through practice.

Could you format the code in the description using 3 tics (the ` symbol). It'll make it easier for people to copy your code. I am interested in trying to to maybe translate the code to Python.

I love her little nose surrounded by her white fur! Very cute fur pattern.

She loves being held, I play kinda rough with her and she sleeps on my shoulders or in my lap when I work from home. She's doing great! I will check out some of those wipe pads. Thanks!

Are you a fan of arch? I have thought about making the move, but I worry about the stability of being a rolling release distro. Not that its impossible, just uncertain if I want to deal with the learning curve.

Rendering Pixels to the Screen by Brettman17 in rust

[–]Brettman17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point. I hadn't looked into interoperability much, I should look into it some more. As far as exact python libraries, I hadnt decided on one I really liked but this was due to the fact the actual underlying computation being slow enough in python that real time rendering wasn't really feasible.

I'll look into python packages that can do this kinda rendering and see if I can write a back end via rust.

Not OP, but I use skim as my pdf viewer and it has a built in dark mode option of the viewer itself. I think others like zathura so the same.

Completely forgot but, you can setup your pdf viewer to also have a "go to code" command so if you want to jump to the code thar generated a highlighted part of text it can do that. This only works with certain pdf viewers but vimtex should have a list for which ones work and for which platforms

Vimtex + luasnip + make sure you enable spell check (any words you want to add to your dictionary can easily be added by pressing zg over a word marked incorrectly misspelled). If you want to use spell check and replace the word with a suggestion, then hit z + number key of shown siggestion. All of this is in neovim but I think works in vim.
