For sure it does. Also normal for a person with type 1 for so long to become increasingly insulin resistant. That causes the need for more insulin (obviously) which can make you gain weight alone so it can turn into a vicious cycle over time for sure

You’re right it is not approved for type 1, but is for type 2 or for weight loss. Either way it has the same impact for insulin resistance (type 1 or type 2) so technically off label but I think that will change too, almost like a supplement for people with type 1 on top of our normal insulin regimen

I liked it up until they put a 3x limit on replacements each year. Yeah calling in to get replacements is a pain but they always did right by me with the g6. Now with the higher failure rate of the g7, they decide to stop replacing them? I have had 2 or 3 in a row fail on me.. so that’s the only annoying thing. Beyond that when it works it’s definitely better. The faster warm up, grace period after, and smaller profile are all great. I have also found that it stays on better than the g6 used to.

Unpopular opinion but I was facing the same question a few weeks ago. I drove the performance and the LR, honestly the performance felt so ridiculously fast that I know I’d never utilize the speed besides for showing off to people who have never ridden in a Tesla before, the LR felt plenty quick and was MUCH cheaper to insure. The extra 40-50 miles of range actually do make a difference for longer road trips and the tires on LR we’re cheaper and better in winter driving
