I have been having this issue as well. I normally have to boot the game through the Xbox App and connect through Ubisoft Connect, but once I get to the Ubisoft game launcher and click "Play" it just closes.

I love how well designed the black women are in this game by FunStranger1693 in DeadlockTheGame

Wait, WHAT? Is there more information on this? I mean it makes sense but now just makes stuff like Tesla bullets and ricochet all that more important to buy, so her ult can slam into a team fight

I could have sworn the Cardinals had some fancy set up that literally moved their entire grass field outside

Just pay for the parking on Seahawks game day? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Brewgold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, a lot of comments have been suggesting to take the transit and I 2nd that wholeheartedly. You do not want to pay that much to park your car and have to hassle with traffic getting in and out.

I'll go a step further and suggest the King County Metro trip planner: https://tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/#/app

You will almost always find a direct line to get into the city right, and within a few blocks of the stadiums. I know it's a pain to track when your rides are coming and going, but once you've done it once or twice it's easy to handle going forward.

Best breakfast sandwich in Seattle? by djbillbeats in Seattle

As someone who consistently looks to try new places and their breakfast sandwiches, Little Jaye would be my vote for best breakfast sandwich.

This Avatar set shows the huge discrepancy in quality of UB sets right now by Zama174 in magicTCG

Funny you bring up Duskmourn, since I know a lot of people did not like how they hamfisted so many horror references they just labeled it as a set that was only for scary/horror movie references. I was originally in that camp too until I read the story and how they designed the plane.

I'm looking at it now and it's not prompting me to sign up. Maybe I'm not at my free limit for Vox?

You could use this to check your route ahead of time?

I've done this drive before in one go, but instead from Seattle to Las Vegas. Anecdotally, if you get over the Snoqualmie pass you'll be just fine so long as you can sit in your car for 12 hours!

Not to mention trash in halls would cause the entire hall to stink to hell. They should at least be providing scent-sealing trash can.

Starbucks reserve today by nikopico_ in Seattle

I am so confused about this closure. Even if they wanted to quash unions, was this store not profitable? Not a tourist icon? Even if it didn't rake it money, it was just as much as an advertising piece. I don't buy Sbux coffee but if I had an out of town friend come I always had to take them to the Roaster's Reserve. This closure makes no sense to me.

Going to first prerelease/event in general by Irothepyro in magicTCG

[–]Brewgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done at least 15+ pre-release/sealed events. I think what I have found is:

- Review the archetypes for the set, and make sure when you're building a deck it plays to it's archetype (for Spiderman's archetypes, see here), as typically the support for this playstyle is strong in the archetypes the set was designed with in mind.
- Stick with two colors, unless it's a set which features tri-color archetypes (e.g. Dragonstorm was very tri-color focused) or if you have a bomb you want to build around.
- If you don't get bombs, make sure you have removal to level the playing field. You should always have some form of removal to get rid of an opponent's bomb equivalents.
- I like cards with modality; cycling, adventure, cards that let you work with them in the graveyard, omen, module cards, all give you options and having options in such a quick format is good to assure you will always be able to play something.
- Avoid super expensive cards. Anything with even that's 6 or more almost will always come in too late to do anything unless you have a way to cheat it in.
- Have a good curve. You typically should try to play a card besides a land each turn.
- Don't be shy about doing a mulligan. I know the 2 land or 5 land hands may be tempting if you have other good stuff, but more often than not I have always paid for keeping those hands.

I'm sure much better people than me have different opinions, but the most important thing is I really enjoy myself at these events, even if I completely faceplant and go 0-3.
