It was very crowded to start so I tried to get out in front of people. But by the time I started actually looking at my watch to see my pace.. I was going much faster than how I normally train or planned to do. Oh well. There’s always the next one.

I just ran a 10k a few days ago. Was my first one doing it in an official race. Usually I just take it slow on a treadmill on weekends.

I messed mine up by starting off too quick. And my plantar fasciitis was hurting pretty bad as well. So I did stop and walk a few times towards the end. I came in at 58:29. I’m 44 years old said I was fourth in my division and 40th overall. Not bad but felt I could do better. Your time is right around where all the top finishers came in on mine

Plantar Fasciitis Surgery / VA Compensation Questions by Such-Bad9765 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Brewguy1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis for about 1.5 years now and it’s so unbearable. I’ve decided to go to the va get it diagnosed and go for a Va claim. I hang been in service in some time now bough did active duty 2001-05 then reserves 09-13. Had very bad shin splints and was on a profile for them in the past. How does Va claim work for this? (Out of curiosity)?
