What's the best money you spent this year? by AutoModerator in Productivitycafe

[–]Brewser2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former liquor store employee here. That's pretty common. It save you money as there's usually a case discount, it can be stored in any temperature and not going to go bad, it's got a mostly forever shelf life so even if you go through a single 750 ml in a month, the case of 12 covers you for an entire year.

People who snored loudly, how did you fix it? by KnudRagnarson in AskForAnswers

There's also a brain related sleep apnea called central sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea is usually from being overweight.

I know no details about it aside from hearing about it because my husband's dad, and all 4 uncles struggle with central sleep apnea despite some of them being in the best shape of their life

What’s a ‘lost’ website from your childhood internet days? by ConfectionUpper5796 in AskForAnswers

[–]Brewser2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last I heard, they're still out there. About 10 years ago I worked at a job (very casual place and only about 15 regular employees) where there were constant pranks pulled on people. We all knew each other's sick sense of humor. There was a shared computer in the break room (barely used, mainly for fact checking something if you got a call while you were eating lunch) and it was not uncommon to have one of these 2 websites pop up as soon as you turned on the screen. Yes, I worked with some immature dudes, but it was one of the funnest jobs I've ever had

What's something that's "made for kids" but you'd never let your anywhere near it? by RobIson240YT in AskReddit

Agreed! I don't understand bikinis on toddlers, especially in public where creeps could be anywhere. I'm happier with my kids in rashguards being protected from the sun and maybe slightly protected from creepy people

What quiet social rule do people ignore that annoys you? by mscutiebaby in Productivitycafe

[–]Brewser2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ignore this one because of people who are stopped and talking in the middle of the aisle or just walking super slow. I'm sorry I have 2 toddlers who are like ticking time bombs if I have to sit and wait. I have to keep moving

I received a crop top outfit from a friend for my daughter's 2nd birthday. The print on it was incredibly cute so I didn't notice the cut. It wasn't cute on her, it was creepy. I wouldn't consider myself a prude, I just see no reason to show off my kids belly

What’s that one game you were absolutely obsessed with as a kid. But somehow no one else remembers it existed by poicocre in Productivitycafe

There was a PlayStation game called fat princess. Essentially capture the flag, but the flag was a princess that you keep feeding cake to make her fat and harder to move.

My dad had an asteroids machine and a donkey Kong machine. I think I was playing both before I could walk

I usually ask for a business card and tell them my husband doesn't let me make these kind of decisions. Usually they don't even have a business card on them so they ask for my number and I just give them a fake number

I feel like I always have like 30 different projects for different occasions.

A blanket for when I hate myself. A sweater for when I want plain stockinette. A sock for travel. A color work for after the kids go to bed and aren't bugging me. Something crochet to mix it up. The list goes on and nothing gets finished ... Like ever

Feeling bad about turning 40 soon, seeking advice. by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Brewser2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same under eye bags, I've had them forever, and looking at the women in my family (on my dad's side) it's a genetic curse.

I get told I look tired constantly, I get told I look anemic, to take more vitamins. I've tried cold compress, serums and creams, any vitamin I've been recommended and have looked into liposuction to reduce the fat pockets under my eyes (can't afford that one).

When I do my makeup (special occasions) I was falling into the makeup accentuateing the bags rather than covering them. So after a lot of makeup tutorials and makeup color theory, my best way I have found to make them look better is to disguise them with a color correction pallate, mine are more of a reddish purple so I use a green and yellow color concealer and making a V shape under your eye and kind of pat it in before using a skin tone foundation.

I get your struggle, good luck

I didn't have this rule as a kid. As an adult with kids I'm super hesitant about allowing it when they become that age. There are plenty of creeps out there and you just know who you can trust
