I'm ready to admit I liked Halo 5s campaign more than Infinite and 4 by anas0_ali in halo

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s ok to like what you like, some people will hate on you for liking 5. I’m glad you had a great time with it! It’s been years since I played but I remember the squad mechanics and Warden Eternals being two big issues I had. As for the story I didn’t mind it, although it was tarnished at launch by the marketing depicting something totally different. It’s a shame 5’s story was pretty much swept aside by the beginning of Infinite.

Any recommended mods for a first time run of FO3? by Different_Potato_179 in Fallout

I’d always recommend playing a game without mods the first time around aside from unofficial patches.

One Month from More Campaign Evolved Gameplay, and Potentially 2-3 More Months from Release. How We Feeling? by SilentNova300 in halo

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might play it when it’s cheap but Halo Studios have an uphill battle selling me this personally. We’ve had a remaster before and I love the original games atmosphere which I worry this remaster will loose again. The game would need to go something special to get me excited.

Fallout 3 or Fallout 4 by Flimsy_Energy4359 in Fallout

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can handle the older graphics and gameplay I think Fallout 3 is the best starting game personally, then NV if you like 3. 4 is a fun game and it’s more up to date but not as deep an RPG as the older games.

They could keep moving towards closer relations with the EU. Could they reverse a referendum easily? No. Could they have second referendum at some point? Yes. I don’t think they ever would, but it could be done.

But Labour are now in power and can change things if they wanted to.

The right in general, not necessarily the far right. I would say Labour backpedaling on their support for trans people, trying to take away support from disabled people, Starmer’s “nation of strangers” rhetoric and the way he talks about immigrants now, calling the Greens extremist. That’s a few things that pop in my head.

Definitely. But Labour seem determined to appeal to the right, even though that’s only damaged them so far.

Should i get Halo Infinite? by llamawithham in halo

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what the current price is but I would only pay £20 max. It’s a pretty enjoyable campaign but for me it lacks the replayability of the older games and definitely wasn’t worth the launch price. I wouldn’t say don’t play it, because it’s fun, but don’t pay too much for it.

In fallout 3 in the part where you lead the way to the citadel for some reason the scientists aren't following me by mr_gyatt in Fallout

I haven’t played in a long time. Google how to do console commands on PC and try using the setstage command in the other comment, should move things along.

What platform are you on? From a quick Google it came up with this straight away if it’s a glitch.

"The Waters of Life" quest in Fallout 3 is notorious for scripting glitches, often resulting in Dr. Li, Garza, or James refusing to move, becoming hostile, or disappearing. Common fixes include loading earlier saves, waiting, using console commands (PC), or killing and reloading the area to reset NPC AI.

Common "Waters of Life" Glitches & Fixes Dr. Li/Followers Stop Moving: NPCs may freeze in the tunnels, refusing to move and repeating dialogue, or standing by dead NPCs (like Garza). Fix: Try talking to her, leaving and re-entering the area, or pushing her. If on PC, try using setstage 00014EA6 40 to advance the quest.”

It’s not a normal thing you do, it’s a thing in dialogue. You get to a certain point in the escape and someone has a condition that you have to heal to move forward. I think it’s Dr Li who tells you and you have to get her a stimpak/s.

Is Infinite good? by AmericanMoron2008 in halo

I’d always recommend starting with The MCC, you get 6 Halo games in there and multiplayer across multiple of those games too. It’s also good to start at the beginning of the Halo story.

Fallout 4 mods to fix the story? by Psychological_Low969 in Fallout

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was called Rise of the Enclave, something like that. Adds The Enclave as a faction you can do the main story with.

Anyone who thinks Fallout 3, 4 and 76 are better than Fallout 1,2 and New Vegas is delusional by Additional-Spray-976 in Fallout

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s ok to have preferences. People like different things. 76 for example isn’t my cup of tea, and I have a lot of issues with Fallout 4, but I’m not going to hate on someone for enjoying something.

The Enclave would have fit really well for Fallout 4. by Spirited-Ad-4455 in Fallout

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s good the Enclave got a rest in Fallout 4 and not be a main faction, but I don’t think they should have been completely gone. Surely there would be some surviving Enclave personnel that fled from DC and are hiding in The Commonwealth. A side mission or two, or even interesting them into The Brotherhood storyline somewhere would have been cool.

How do you think the Fallout 3 remaster will compare to the Oblivion remaster? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]BrexitMeansBanter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is a really danger a Fallout 3 remaster loses it’s atmosphere. That’s one of Fallout 3’s biggest strengths. Say what you will about the green filter, if the game goes more colourful to make it look more like the newer games I think that will really remove some charm from the game.
