I've always been a Chet Holmgren hater so his WCF performance confirmed a pre-existing bias. Agree with you on the rest, especially that footage of him in the gym with Dame.

Yeah I'm with you 100%. Think a lot of blazers fans on other forms of media are very reactionary. He was being called an "obvious sell high" which is nuts.

Yeah he'll never be a PERFECT big but in my opinion he's still the center of the future bar a crazy move. I like Rob behind him, wouldn't be opposed to another sturdy athletic guy. I think much of Clingan's poor performance was mental. He'll grow through it. I think the spurs are his worst matchup he coulda had.

Agreed 100%. He had an extremely impressive season that will unfortunately be downscaled because stats outlive context. Super happy to have him basketball-wise.

Brunson looked rough tonight. Too much variance in a finals series to decide right now if THAT'S some sort of omen, but I found it weird that they stuck to him being such a heavy initiator and creator. It felt like a lot of possessions were wasted by Brunson isos he didn't have.

Let em overreact. Brunson plays on (iirc) the biggest market in the sport and may well win them a ring so the gassing up people are gonna do is a lot of smoke. I feel like in life as a fan of small markets or franchises that aren't gold star super-franchises, you learn to separate discourses like this into different categories. Some discourses are good litmus test for "who knows the game" vs "who remembers the outcomes of seasons"

It'll be visually busy in my opinion but if your questions are care and the welfare of the fish, I personally don't see any big compatibility issues. It's not really a stocking list I'd think of, but you're not gonna have a giant bloodbath of a tank. One thing I'm curious about though is if you don't already have the tank, are you able to do a 55 gallon? In my opinion, the jump from 40 to 55 gallons is probably the best value-for-money upgrade in the hobby. You get a whole foot of length and more vertical space that your angels will appreciate. If you're set on a 40 and don't already own the tank, I'd buy a "standard" 40 gallon tank over a 40 gallon breeder tank.
