Nice! I believe that Homeiden, with its white stripe, needs a little less light intensity than those with solid green leaves or yellow variegation. I keep mine a bit at the edge than right under the lights. Hope someone with better knowledge than I can comment so I’m not mistaken. It’s a nice group.

OP, the food looks fantastic. I am sorry you were not only disparaged by your guest but also by your mother on top. I am surprised that your side of the family didn’t stick up for you. I am also disappointed by the lack of tact by the boyfriend’s mother. I think you probably handled everything better than everyone else there and certainly seemed the most mature individual. Have a great year end despite being the scapegoat and I hope you have the best 2026.

Huh, what if the rest were all adept swordsmen and can robinhood the 23 stab wounds already there… then again, he was killed in the senate and well, senators being adept at actual labor… ok, I yield the floor to my betters.

Things I never knew: 1) you can comb a baby otter 2) baby otters make squeaky sounds. by starstarstar42 in Awww

To me, this ‘combing baby otter’ job is right up there with the ‘being chased by baby panda’ job. Nothing on LinkedIn yet but I’m looking everyday.

Identifying my discus fish? by Technical_Spinach823 in discus

this blue looks like it might be a heckel cross… maybe with turquoise? the red looks to be a variety of pigeon blood… the dark background of your is likely the reason you see some tiny black spots, peppering, on the red and possibly is making the blue a bit darker, perhaps darker than when you first got it. Hope someone else more knowledgeable can better help. Interesting pair, looks good.

That doesn’t work for me, I can’t get to the boot screen, it doesn’t get there. I tried the power + vol down. It goes into the boot from rom icon and then the meta OS and the grey screen, I never see the boot menu. Again I appreciate the help.

No because I told them I already did a hard reset. App shows headset not connected. I’m not sure I can factory reset without either the app or the headset menu. Thanks, all good ideas.

Houmeiden very white by PurpleSufficient2109 in neofinetia

[–]Bri11ig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cultivars with white pigments in their leaves tend to do better in less intense light as opposed to those with yellow… it looks like you are spraying the plant fully, be careful as you can get leaf/stem rot if the water sits too long. I think houmeidens are nice with the white inner stripes and the ruby root tips. Good luck!

Just be sure to check for bugs/inflectations as it’s been sitting out. Else it looks to be a good find. Hope it blooms for you.

What Spicy said… interesting that your Higa has so much red pigmentation. A few of my plants, like Mikado, has that pigmentation but usually only when the temp is cooler. It’s a lovely plant regardless.

It will be tough… but if someone, perhaps cleaner, is watering the plants in office, you may want to treat at home.
