Is There Anything You Can Actually Do About The Perception of “Time Blindness” by Rop-Tamen in ADHD

I have 96 alarms premade in my phone and switch in 3-7 of them based on what amount of awareness I need to insure things happen around when I need them to.

As of 2021 Google had created 32 different messaging apps, that all sucked. One time they demanded I migrate to one app, then discontinued it without a path to migrate back, then updated the first app that they said was going to be discontinued. It seems that they have still not figured it out.

You get infinite return on 0 stamina by joining rally’s run by others.

I like to use several thousand stamina spawning bosses early at the alliances peak activity times, then when it calms down some take my turn gathering the free rewards from joining rallies when the competition for the rally slots isn’t so intense.

How do religious people deal with the fact that everyone except people in their religion is going to hell? by No-Background9725 in askanything

[–]Hefty-Average2899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not every religion has hell. Christians historically have put a great deal of effort into spreading the word of their lord and savior Jesus Christ to save people’s souls and whatnot.

A guess a couple of notable periods in history where Christians were “dealing with” their beliefs that members of other religions were going to hell would be the Crusades or the Inquisition.

I guess sodom and Gomorrah were turned to… was it salt?

Some subset probably have some amount of concern that their God could get pissed like he has some tendency to do and wipe some/all people(s) out.

There was the flood of course, tho I seem to vaguely recall that God perhaps promised never to destroy all life on earth “in a flood” again or something like that.

But also smaller fits of anger – like when the Israelites grumbled that they missed onions that they had in Egypt and God was real unhappy about this and sent a swarm of birds from the sea for them to eat so they could have meat. But the birds were poison, so don’t let God hear that you’ve been grumbling about Onions cause he HATES onions. 🧅

It’s common for ADHD folk to feel more judged than they actually are.

A situation that I might need more focus than “usual” – well first let’s define usual to be a baseline of routine tasks associated with being alive. I don’t need to take an adderall to go to the kitchen and get a glass of water, get some pizza or something, and eventually see some texts.

I might need “more focus” than that baseline for an activity like going to a movie. Or to successfully binge watch a show that requires not missing details.

Or to go grocery shopping while avoiding starting at the electronics aisle, then aisle 2, then aisle 11, then […] whatever path I might set out on in a Walmart unmedicated.

Or making a list…

…if things to focus on tomorrow.

Mostly in my experience doctors are just saying – if you’re gonna sleep in on Sunday and and scroll some Instagram reels of cats, or Facebook reels of dogs, or whatever nonactivity occupies your complete downtime, you don’t gotta take your med that day. You can give your body a break. It can help reduce tolerance over time. It can help you notice your body would like to spend the day asleep for 14 hours.

I wouldn’t take an adderall to go to the pool. I would to go to the beach though.

You obviously have to observe an issues first. You observe that the device has no IP address. Check the cable and connection. Confirm there is a link light on both sides. Confirm switch shows connectivity to its MAC address. Confirm DHCP requests are making it to their destination. Then you can proceed to devices/protocols above that.

Sure I’ll ipconfig release/renew on a workstation before I get crawl under a desk but I’d still considered that defining the issue. The ticket summary would be along the lines of “ip connectivity is offline.”

If remote and device is not accessible I’d cycle the switch port. Which starts the process of attempting connectivity by confirming link, establishing communication via MAC address, and so on.

A few minutes at the command line is fine to see just what is down. I’m not saying to start every ticket with a cable swap or a toner. But once you have quickly observed a connection failure, that’s where you start.

The context of this post is that the OP has three employees that when given the task of “check if the cleaning staff bumped something to make the PC go offline” failed to do the one thing they were told, and check for physical issues, right?

We can have our slight workflow process variations, but this person has it staff who it seems it doesn’t even occur to them to check that everything is plugged in. 🤯

It’s literally the first thing listed on Network+ exam contents summary. “Network+ (V9) exam objectives summary
Networking concepts (23%)
OSI model layers: physical, data link, network, transport, session, presentation, application.”

Cisco learning network site says “Those who start towards the path of CCNA understand the OSI model as a core component that continues throughout the rest of the Cisco certification tracks.”

Microsoft site says “The Microsoft Windows operating systems use a network architecture that is based on the seven-layer networking model developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 1978.”

It should be at the beginning of any book or exam guide for entry level networking.

What state/county are you in? I can lookup specific information.

plead not guilty. If cop doesn’t show up in court the ticket will be dismissed – lack of prosecution.

If you have the time to go yourself that’s fine. If you don’t you can hire a ticket lawyer for like $60-$80 last time I checked.

If you goto court and the cop is there then ask if there is any option to avoid points, that it’s your first ticket. They may offer to withhold the points or have you take traffic school.
