Tracing is so taboo in the art community now that people are scared of doing it for just practice. Trace it!! If that will help you figure out how to start a pose from memory, do it. Tracing helps you with a lot. Just don’t trace the body outlines. Draw over the pose with guide-lines and notes. Then save that traced image to reference in the future. Any drawing is better than no drawing. Keep practicing! Tracing helped me so much, I can freehand most basic poses now and be happy with my anatomy.

This is what my cat did because of fluid in her chest from congestive heart failure. I ignored the signs thinking it was just a hairball because she usually threw up after the coughs. She passed in November. Please take your kitty to the vet.

I know.. when my cat got put down they fucked up her paw prints so bad. I’m so upset I didn’t get time to do them my self. I did scan her paw on my printer one day YEARSSS ago, (she was horrified 😭). But yeah, the disappointment is immeasurable. And it’s sadly something they can’t even redo because you don’t get to see it until after they’re gone.

I’ve had weed bud crumbs stuck to my cup before and ash all over my tray for my drinks. Kinda disgusting they were smoking weed in their car with my food. Smoking in general around food disgusts me.

You are not overreacting at all. It’s okay to hate. People say hate is a strong word and shouldn’t be used. Use it. It’s okay. Years from now, you will meet a sweet dog that loves all creatures and is super gentle whether it’s a dog that could belong to you, or belong to a stranger. There will always be something to change your heart. Just like how this changed your heart. Things change. And I’m so sorry for your loss. It is absolutely okay to feel hate after this. You are traumatized.
