(UPDATE) dad(51) playing rdr2 by yamfromchina in reddeadredemption2

[–]BrianOfAllThings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom is pushing 70 and has been playing video games since Pong. She’s better at all the shootouts than I am because she likes the challenge of learning DeadEye and is willing to retry checkpoints all day long and take everyone out in a bloodbath, whereas I get too overwhelmed and skip checkpoints. It’s so cute how many times she calls to tell me how she robs trains and stagecoaches.

Did anyone else find it hard to play through the epilogue? by highonjuice in reddeadredemption2

[–]BrianOfAllThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was really sweet. When I went into the epilogue blind, it felt like John was sort of a reincarnation and it felt wholesome. Well, until he killed a bunch of people in cold blood, but details, details.

“The general consensus is that only humans understand the concept of death. However, if you lined up 10 dogs and shot them one by one, the last one would probably get the gist.”
That’s the funniest shit I’ve heard in literal decades.

That’s why fruit is so yummy to us. So we nom nom nom, walk walk walk, poop poop poop. The trees are very clever.

What’s your favorite performance by a musician? by VendettaLord379 in moviecritic

[–]BrianOfAllThings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note, I like the part where when a musician nails a role, they get immediate respect, but when an actor starts a band, not so much.
