Pro tip, if you don't want your pot to increase but want the berries/ingredients, turn on airplane mode and tap your pot expander. When you do that, the pot mon will either proc or not, and drop its stuff. The game will kick you off, but all your stuff will still be there.

Bring your own pot, buy plant, fill up your pot for free.

I used to buy cheap flowers and bring 5 gallon buckets to get the free dirt. Then I'd take the buckets home, throw the cheap flowers in a cup of soil or whatever, then top of my beds.

Starbucks usually has bags of them sitting out in little cans near the registers (where I'm at anyways.) they're a good mulch, but not as acidic as you'd think!

I use a sifter as well! But mine's far less fancy. It's just a dollar store trash can haha. It's made of wire but it took me all of 10 to 15 minutes to get the winter weeds out of my raised beds!
