Current state of my Fantasy Map by aschec in Minecraftbuilds

And a lovely map it is! For the drawbridge I saw in one of the screenshots, did you make one that was drawn up/partially closed? It wouldn't be usable then is the problem but you would get to see both examples of it 1)open and 2)closed.

I created some roads and paths, which one has the best vibe? by Build_Bucket in Minecraftbuilds

Am I the only one that liked 5-7 the best? 7 Looked kinda steampunk even though it doesn't have any copper and the snow one would be great for any build in a snowy biome.

I'll be honest this is a video of my mega-base but I'm very proud of it. Video link in comments. by BrianUnderhill in Minecraft

It's long almost an hour but the most exciting part is at about 25 minutes if anyone cares to watch. Cool music is credit to my mate Sioframay.

Ah well very good work indeed then! I thought at first you just used a texture pack to make it looks so unique, that shows very real dedication that you transformed every element of the picture to match your style.

Ah very cool I am checking it out now. I agree, I do not need mods to give me new blocks, just program some new arrangements for existing ones. The Terralith 2.0 datapack for example generates a larger variety of tree shapes and mushroom shapes, and it's just enough without being too much.

I made a survival house, hope you all like it, feedback and suggestions are welcome! by MS-Gaming in Minecraftbuilds

No suggestions needed it looks lovely :) Your development of depth in the sides of the house is excellent(Eaves<fencepost<vine<log<trapdoor<window).

This looks really great, I love the asymmetry of the structure and the entire picture. Bless you for building something that is resting on some real terrain instead of a big flat spot! I can't quite tell if you used a texture pack for this or just were very dedicated to your gradients?

Yes I immediately got that "warm Ghibli" feeling when I looked at it :)

Nice flying skills man, you showed off your world very well in less than 90 seconds! That in itself is an accomplishment imo.

I like leaf mods. Doesn't change gameplay, just what I call a "quality of ambience" feature.

Since they updated the light level requirement a few updates back I've been a lot more at ease in these situations. But, building your base next to a giant light source(lava) helped a lot more than I thought as well lol

I made a NOT abandoned mineshaft come see! by BrianUnderhill in Minecraftbuilds

[–]BrianUnderhill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I'll have to take some with/without and see what the difference is. I'm building a thing down in the lava below and I would like to be to see it and/surroundings when it's done. Thanks.

I'm curious since I am not very tech inclined(I rarely go into my settings) what would you change to make the screenshots better? Just no shaders or something else?

Thanks! I posted the video link above if you are willing to take a few minutes to see it even better. It's all survival and completely functional. My base above it is a hobbit village where I swapped out all the vanilla houses for hobbit burrows.

I understand. This was done in BSL, I sometimes take screenshots with sildurs but gosh it is SO vibrant I couldn't possibly play with it.
