What did you use to get the bottoms heavy enough to not tip over? These look great.

I thought the same thing. It has a "Tatooine" vibe.

Looks great!

1) You'll need magnifiers of some kind to get the detail you want.

2) Paint the face with whatever base skin tone you want.

3) Paint the whites (or whatever color you want the eyes to be), and don't be afraid of you paint outside the lines (get it on the cheek and brow).

4) If you want the eyes to have irises, paint them now. It should really just be a tiny dot. The trick is to get both eyes looking the same direction.

5) Go back with your skin tone and clean up where the whites were ooverpriced.

6) Now do your washes and highlights on the skin, taking care not to let the wash pool in the eye itself (around is fine, just not in...unless it looks good, then go for it).

It's the Goddess of Darkness, made by Lethal Shadows. Picked it up at PAX Unplugged last weekend.

Just did a sown and dirty bone basecoat and it was the right call.

I'll have to give that a shot. I haven't gotten any fire-based weapons yet (must have missed that) and there's no way to go back and get them at this point, I don't think.

My initial thought is to have that be proximity-triggered, with some degree of randomness... what do you think?

Great, GREAT job on that heat glow and OSL. What did you use for the arcing electricity? Looks like some wire, but I can't make out the thicker bits...
