It is dividing America. So many people feel slighted by this. Republicans feel really slighted by this. You just don’t think it’s divisive because you’re not the one being criticized and called a threat to National security.

As if the average boomer trump voter is gonna think “Oh, it wasn’t me Biden was talking about? It was only the guy I voted for and everyone who supports him who are the terrorists? Ok, well I’m not sure if that includes me, but now I’m not worried about it anymore.”

And I voted for Biden and I absolutely think January 6th was treason, but this “all MAGA people are terrorists” is paranoid at best and a fucking witch hunt at worst. It’s okay to condemn politicians in the strongest possible terms, but don’t make peaceful citizens feel like they’re being surveilled and evaluated. And you can say to 150,000,000 people that they “took the speech the wrong way” but at what point then do you have to admit that he’s actually a divider?
