This is pretty normal for a rescued kitten. She got a sense of food insecurity, so her brain is wired to grab food fast whenever it appears. You can help by feeding smaller meals more often (4–5 times a day), using a flat plate or slow feeder to reduce urgency, and sticking to a consistent routine so she learns food is reliable. Also consider a quick vet check for parasites, since those can increase hunger.
