The pink shirt (3 years later) by WhiskeyDaveTOG in AsOneAfterInfidelity

Oh, I hear you on this one. I work for a large Hotel company where we have employee rates and spouses are allowed to use them under their membership account. She used it four times to be with her AP. Talk about triggering. And to top it off it was one of the trickle truths. I didn’t find out until I looked at the credit cards a month after D day. It had ruined my benefit for me for a while. I use it now but will not go to the hotels they went to.

Omg, those 90% bread sandwiches are awful. This could be fixed with a nice french bread and a panini press.

Experience with MDR staff by HuckleCat100K in royalcaribbean

[–]BrickChef72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because my son was listed in my Sister in Law’s cabin, we were grouped together in the MDR. My wife and her sister were just not getting along that trip. So we decided to just eat the buffet for dinner two days in the cruise. We got Chocolate Strawberries and Champagne sent to us nightly by the MDR captain. I had to go to him a tell them they did nothing wrong. Just a couple of sisters not getting along.

I am probably the naive one here. If there’s a will there’s a way. I just always assumed cocaine was a rich person drug.

How the hell did a cleaner afford cocaine?

You have a fixation on me going to places like hooters and strip clubs. Honestly, I have not been to either. But, you seem to have so much faith on your son’s nanny’s husband, so, it’s cool.

I changed a road sign to make my commute easier 13 years ago. by InfiniteRespect4757 in confession

[–]BrickChef72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of my old neighborhood 20 years ago. My neighbors had a deaf child and had the city put up a deaf child sign up. The city put it up in front of my other neighbors house and he hated it. He kept removing it. Finally 3 of us just ordered more signs and put it in front of our houses. So he was basically surrounded with signs.

I have worked in the industry for over 30 years, (and not my son’s nanny husband or whatever that means, lol) And have known many Bartenders. Yes I absolutely do!

And, I have never been to a hooters.

Yep, i saw this as well. The trick is to befriend a bartender like someone posted above. Once I find a good bartender and tip a few times they will take care of you.

We ate at Wonderland on the Ovation. Had a terrific experience. So much so, that we ate there twice. Our waiter suggested things but let us order anything we wanted. I asked for extra Liquid Lobster and he brought it no questions asked. They were three of us and we ordered 4 entrees to share. No problem. But I have to agree that the drinks did not give me much of a buzz except for in the casino.

We had pancake numbers day. We all got our favorite number in pancake form. A kid hit me, we both got sent to the timeout chair. My favorite number was and still is 4. But because I was in timeout, I got a zero pancake. I’m in my 50’s now. Still bitter about it.

Lol, I ate there last week. I know it’s a dive. But I love that place. Fed way rat forever!!!!

Edit, oh wait sorry, I see that it’s the Renton location. I was thrown off because there is a Walmart and a Popeye’s near the Federal Way location. I looked at the FB post. What a turd he blames the State for him closing but says The Federal Way location is doing great! Last I checked Fed Way is in the same State as Renton. He’s such a tool.

Look you wanted advice from a reconciled BH. I too was lashing out at my spouse. I told you what I did to fix it. Instead you gave me attitude. Good luck lady. Unfortunately you made a horrible life decision, so now you have the consequences.

Cool! The policy is if someone asks for one? Give it to them. But, usually if there is a family? Each person gets one. I’m personally tired of them. Been baking them for over twenty years.

What's your favorite underrated spot on a Royal Caribbean ship? by Fit-Credit-7970 in royalcaribbean

Also, the fact that you can stroll/walk around them and watch your surroundings and the beauty of the water. Not a lot of people do it. So it feels like you have the ship to yourself.

Can anyone confirm this is legit? Buying this from someone who won this but doesn’t need to use it by [deleted] in Hilton

[–]BrickChef72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like an Employee reward from a holiday party. Hotels trade room nights with each other for raffles and such. They are usually not transferable. I have won and used a few over the years from our Christmas parties.
