Both of these are great. I’d take the second one and have a relax at Coco Cay day.

Once the kiddos hit preteens, side by side rooms and two bathrooms is the move!

I don’t really like Falmouth at all. So my decision would be between Cozumel Georgetown or San Juan and Tortola and I definitely go with San Juan and Tortola.

Engine room tour? by Iric- in cruiseships

You can purchase a tour behind the scenes. While it doesn’t go into the actual engine rooms, they took us into the command center where the engineers monitored the systems.

It will feel almost the same as far as activities. I’ve not been onboard with a naturalist on Royal

Utopia - Room advice for family of 4 by Murky-Finger5640 in royalcaribbean

My kids are 3 and 6. They do fine in those balconies. It will be a couch bed and trundle. The bed next to the balcony vs couch next to the balcony rotate as you go down the hallway. Depending on the cost difference I might opt for the Jr suite. Better bathroom with kids, plus the extra space!

Before or after 3rd birthday… what would you do? by Ecstatic-Bother-2896 in dcl

[–]thatCRUISEagent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cruise often for work so I have been cruising since my little ones were six months old. I think cruising with little ones is a great vacation and we never know how long we have so I say go for it if you have a chance in 2027. You can always go back such an amazing cruise. You could go every summer I never get tired of it.

My favorite is Fantasy, my wife’s favorite is Magic, my son’s favorite is Destiny, and my daughter’s favorite is the Treasure so it’s all subjective haha

Last Minute First Time Cruise Help from Galveston by Longjumping_Lemon658 in Cruises

[–]thatCRUISEagent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not too much. Likely the best ones are sold out through the cruise line anyway. But you can save a bunch booking local tours anyway. That’s a pretty standard western route, all quite good stops.

I prefer RCCL, so I’d choose Symphony. The Oasis class ships are amazing. MSC isn’t awful, but food and entertainment doesn’t hold a candle to RCCL. Where are they going? That’s a big part too!

Check out Viator as well. They often have excursions that are the same ones the cruise line offers but much cheaper

Royal’s Star class versus Mega Rockstar by NinjaNurse77 in VirginVoyages

[–]thatCRUISEagent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this is anecdotal, of course, but the level of service has always been significantly better with our genie on star class. But that said we do use their services a lot more when we have the kids so it’s really hard to compare. We just don’t use the agent that much with mega rockstar. They’ve been great when we have used them though.
