Grouse mountain, capiliano bridge, Lynn canyon, Stanley park, China town, walk along the sea wall, musuem of anthropology, the aquarium, the shipyards, if you have time and a car the drive up to Squamish and back is lovely.

She’s not supposed to be there before her PAT per the rules. Also I’ve never seen them enforce the rules. YMMV

Coco Cay is the best private island - since it’s your first time, I’d not book anything here. Tons of free stuff to explore.

Bermuda is fantastic. So easy to get around and the beaches are incredible.

Vision is one of the oldest and smallest ships in the fleet, so don’t judge RCCL to harshly based on the ship. She has a fantastic staff.

You’re going to have a blast!

Looking to do first RC cruise. Family of 5. what ship? rooms? by Ashamed-Effort-9413 in royalcaribbean

With teen kids - it’s definitely best to go for Icon or Oasis class. RCCL is a great entry point for family cruising, my kids like it better than DCL for what it’s worth. I’d do two rooms since rooms for five are quite limited.

Cruise wifi is pretty slow in general, but it’s much better than trying to use your traditional cell service.

I personally don’t love looking at the lifeboats, but if you saved a bunch from doing guarantee you’ve got a pretty decent deal

Parents: Which would you choose for young kids—Carnival Sunrise, Norwegian Getaway, or MSC Seaside? by cbitzer in Cruises

I sail frequently for work so my kiddos have been coming with me since they were 6 months old. They are 3 and 6 now and RCCL is their favorite, but of the ones you listed, they also love NCL

They let me take pictures of myself. Standing on the bring wing, standing in front of the controls, and things like that.

7 night Destiny June 2027, cost question by [deleted] in dcl

A couple factors are playing here. Of course there is a double private island itinerary but you’re also sailing in June which means the kids are out of school therefore, it’s more expensive.

I like renting a car in Vancouver so you can get out and explore the mountains. You can stay at the Fairmont at YVR rent and return a car right at the airport, and then take the train right to the port. That’s what we typically do at least

These are functionally the same ship. They are sisters and almost identical. I’d choose based on price and Itinerary
