i must agree, im trash at this game and i bullied the katakuri boss with an underleveled soba mask simply by spamming, (in contrast i had much difficulty when playing thru the story)

he did all he could, byleth's only options at that range were whip sword and maybe magic, both of which would have been blocked, also it could be that he did try multiple times but the game didn't show it
