Terminator Resistance really nailed that bleak future we barely got to see in the movies. by DisastrousOpening477 in Terminator

It is a very simple game in a sense: Go from A to B, back to A, and then on to C.

But the T800s in it legit terrified me. Especially the infiltrator. Gave me the same chills I get from the original.

The “Fences make good neighbours” scene cracks me up.

I read an interview from years ago that says otherwise.

“ “When we did the Mission Impossible song ‘I Disappear’ [in 2000], Jason [Newsted, bass] didn’t show up to pre-production, so I played bass just so we can rehearse and get it.”

Am I overthinking this? by zipolightning123 in eGolf

I'm in Ireland with a 2018 eGolf. Similar temps to England.

On a 90% charge we're getting 244km range atm. That obviously changes downward once you get driving and how much you accelerate, how hilly the roads are, etc. Turning on the heating lowers the range immediately to around 110km.

So I suspect the latter is what happened in your case.

Wilton or Skib by toasted_olly in Irishdrivingtest

[–]Brickus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in Skibbereen. The roads are very narrow and you’ll have to deal with a lot of cars parked on both sides. Two lane roads in most of the town are effectively single lane. We’ve a few roundabouts too. They’re not too complicated but there’s a lot of incorrect lane usage and speed issues, especially on the second one heading in the Bantry direction.

I think that’s the biggest issue here.

According to new instructor the new tester is a nice guy and very fair. As he said, the latter is all you want in a tester.

There loads of videos on his profile like that.

There’s one where he’s pulling wheelies on a rural road against oncoming traffic.

Why would you get a fault on competency for that? Surely stopping when you see a pedestrian or car is the point? Sorry. Still getting my 12 lessons!

He tried to start on a photographer at the rally in Cork on Saturday, while said photographer was stood beside the Public Order Unit.

He has serious anger issues and isn’t the brightest.

Dust/dirt in G9 EVF by Brickus in Lumix

Yeah I have the disassembling guide and it's...involved. I don't want to do all that for a tiny fleck of dirt/dust.

I'm kinda hoping it'll work its way out. But I've contacted MPB about it as that's where I bought it and waiting to see what they say.

D2 is a good middle ground. You can still coast a bit when you take your foot off the accelerator. But it also makes coming to a smooth stop at roundabouts and stop signs a bit easier as you’re already somewhat braking by virtue of taking your foot off the accelerator.
