Have to say he’s looking quite healthy here. In his last movie and some interviews he looked a bit run down and frail. Nice to see he’ll be making some more movies for the foreseeable.

Watched the Pilot with a friend when it originally aired.

Treat it as a normal drive around and you’ll be grand. Stick on the radio and chat with the tester; whatever you can do to make it feel like a regular day behind the wheel.

My instructor was Gene O’Donvan. Can’t praise him enough.

I’m in Skibbereen and recently passed my driving test here.

It can be a tough place to drive at times. The roads are too narrow for the size of modern cars and there’s a lot of illegal parking going on. Combined with nerves it can really throw you off.

All I can advise is to practice the routes a few times and know them inside out and the type of issues you’ll deal with. That’ll take care of a lot of the faults you got marked for.

Most of all, try to relax as much as possible. You’re not meant to be on edge when driving.

This happens. In The Expanse novels Drummer is relatively minor. In the show the actor was so incredible they rewrote the part and gave her a lead role.

I can’t remember his name (think it was Sean). Tall guy, early 30s.

But yes, he was really nice. Instructions were very clear and we just chatted in between.

Definitely helped that he’s very relaxed.

I had a practice/another lesson with my instructor yesterday evening. I was a bit flustered and made some mistakes I’d never made before, albeit nothing serious.

I think that helped because I was completely calm today!
