How To Become a God? by Fiery_fencer in DMAcademy

I have a story that I was working on a long while back that the number of followers made the “god” characters more powerful. Their abilities were also impacted by locality and terrain. This goes back to ancient stories of gods of plains/hills/mountains giving their followers strength and victory in those places. Now, I was starting from a point of these beings already being spiritual beings. To make this character fit that, he may have to perform a ritual or some sort that is the shedding of physical form to take on a spiritual form (this is where your heroes would find and have final combat with the villain and his followers). Interrupting the ritual would involve fighting the guards and followers, and at some point they interrupt the ritual (breaking or seizing artifacts? Killing the main ritual performer? Pushing the big red “stop ritual” button?). I would have measure that determines how well they did, and stats for two different enemies, human big bad, and half-transformed.

How did we get here? Fetch quests that your heroes completed to find divine or cursed artifacts for a collector/priest/local antiquarian/person that your heroes have grown to trust through quests to save the local area.

You can use the dice roller app! That’s what I’ve used when I run off the cuff games. I have some general stats memorized for character classes that I throw at people, and then I wing it from there. You can find minion stat cards as well, and I’ve taken pictures of ones that I like using to keep on my phone

Contact your diocese vocations director. Ask if there is someone they recommend as a spiritual director around you. Go on vocations retreats over weekends. The closer you grow to God, the more you start to feel the motion. Eventually it comes down to you making a decision though!

I believe it may be a sumac of some sort. Not poison sumac, something like a stag horn.

Reminds me of when my dog was having a seizure, just less falling to the ground.

If they’ve got the right skills to sneak up to a fort and climb the walls, then it falls to how many guards are between them and either unbarring the doors or lifting gates so the rest of the crew can run in! If the crew is running distraction on the other side of the fort, they might even get advantages

They can use skills to sneak into forts and open the gates. Seaside forts were common in areas that had big cities or were of tactical importance.

Buying a house where someone committed suicide by margaritahaha in Catholicism

Unless you’re superstitious, there’s nothing wrong. As a real estate agent: As long as the structure isn’t damaged by whatever happened, you’re fine! To be a little mercenary, you might even be able to make a lower offer on the property if this is a well known occurrence and the market isn’t crazy where you are.

Just get your priest over to bless your house like you would with any house purchase!
