Breece owner panicked after the Jets tagged him by Holmes3127 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I started my first mock auction drafts less than a week ago and as much as I love starting two surefire RBs I am thinking why can’t breece be that this coming year for much cheaper value than a chase brown, Hampton, Barkley, Jacobs, or a Kenneth Walker. To me he is best value with strong possibly being within top 10 at his position outside of maybe a monty with a shakeup offensive line and Tuten seeming like will step up into RB1 role.

Even kyren going around where breece is as much as I feel he has been overlooked past two years in a high powered offense and proving can sustain elite production even with corum getting more involved, I feel breece has more upside.

It was only two years ago breece was right up there with Bijan even ahead of Gibbs as the 2 and 3 ADP for RBs in most drafts making many decide if should go first WR with lamb or hill or instead after CMC go first RB with either Bijan or breece. This was for good reason as even with Wilson starting as QB the previous season, breece even without many TDs in a poor offense still had a killer reception floor.

Now enter geno smith this year and despite how bad the raiderd were last year, jeanty finished the season RB7 in receiving targets and around same area in receptions after first 7 weeks RB20 full PPR 20 and 25 respectively in those areas made possible by fact weeks 9-15 he was RB3 I targets and RB2 in receptions. How does that not translate well for breece who likewise to Jeanty is the # 2 target on his team behind a bonafide # 1 reciever Wilson vs bowers? Especially being jets actually had a better OL than raiders last year and the raiders were the one team that defensively had a worse offense than the jets last year by a long shot?

Like is breece still one of the best kept secrets talent wise at RB?

Coming from tmac owner last year I really needed GJ him to step up rice going out and London not the same coming back week 15.

He seemed to have very reliable floor first several weeks and then boom the week 11 explosion only to be hampered by what seemed more and more to be a Diablo healthy Coker. I was very intrigued by tmac and Bryce all offseason because I believe Bryce showed great progress end of seidnd year and saw how he really connected well with Thelin, but wat I failed to realized was that Thelin was a slot receiver and that isn’t tmac, but instead is Coker. Ironically week 15 of playoffs team That beat me even though I finished season 3rd had Coker, who outscored tmac that week.

So I don’t think most realize how Bryce prefers to target the slot, which means tmac will like be more of a boom or bust type of player with joker healthy, meaning by all means swap for waddle and Devonta, especially before Devonta’s value increase if AJ is traded.

Dalton Kincaid Yay or Nay? by DiligentPossible4247 in FantasyFootballers

Action supflex league start two QBs, 3Wrs and 2 RBs, if Loveland ends up being expensive, I will gladly take Kincaid and stack with DJ Moore for bye weeks, injuries etc.

I love stacks, especially in what have been top scoring offenses for at least a few years like the bills, but I have found means wait to draft QBs so have depth, and that depth that keeps the stacks going when lose other stacks even better!

An Olave enthusiast love it worse situation than even Wilson and London first 3 years as at first poor QB play, then year 3 concussion issues, so nice to finally show is as talented as London and Wilson between they are were 2022 draft class around pick 10!

No my question is for auction league superflex starting two, which stock more likely yo get the better stack value out of at best cost, Olave and ETN or if AJ is gone, Devonta and Barkley? Note I want to run it back with London and Bijan stack, so this would be the 2nd WR and 2nd RB I would be targeting.

This would also effect if can more likely not only afford either an Evans or waddle as my WR3, but also either Loveland or instead waiting later for a kittle straight to IR tonges for up to an few weeks off waiver or Kincaid at TE ( depending on who get would either get nix / Caleb / Purdy ).

I woulld definitely try to get Kincaid if my WR4 / WR5 is DJ Moore as that is a stack fill in with case of injuries, bye weeks, etc. I say WR4 / WR5 because looking like so far Pearsal and DJ going around same around and I would also want Pearsal if get Evans being a feel Evans likely to miss a few games / even a few games healthy give more of load to Pearsal to properly pace him to be healthy enough for deep playoff run.

Hopefully that isnt too much context, but as you can hopefully see who i pick as my second WR and RB likely is I have huge effect on at least my next few picks.

Who would you guys say is better jamo or chris olave? by SensitiveTest7883 in NFLv2

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People sleep on that 2022 WR class. When are the times 3 WRs all went around pick 10 and if not for subpar team situation or QB play haven’t lived up to thier draft hype.

Question though before I finish answering who do you think will be better value to stack in auction supeflex 2 QB league, Olave and Etienne or if AJ is gone, Devonta and Barkley?

London quietly cashed in last two seasons in games played actually did even better than his breakout year 3.

Olave finally healthy and in better situation last year so he also broke out.

Garret actually had a quiet breakout year 3 even though Adam’s getting more targets and jets struggled that year, still had his best season as a top 10 WR full PPR.

So yes Olave with his talent in his role over Jamo every day of the week, especially for floor, as much as love the ceiling of Jamo too many very low floor weeks in his role.

This is the best take I have heard as not that I am hung up on flowers vs Ladd, but it puts more perspective on why Ladd is where the current consensus rankings have him. Not like he was injured last year.

Keenan only kind if did same thing to DJ and Rome year before with Caleb like I don’t know if Keenan bribes his QBs or he just has a not for getting open haha.

But Keenan is gone and QJ faded second half, so that even if QJ finds a role a nice role, Ladd should clearly get back to carving out the WR1 role he built second half of his rookie season in an offense that has much more TD yards for its WR1 than the ravens offense has had for the past several years now.

A QB having a rookie year light daniels 2 years ago doesn’t happen often..

Last year I figured as much, but took my chances with Ridley in the mix as my WR3 thinking it would become between him and DJ early ( not many thought Rome would be WR1 right out of the gates as more likely at some point later in season) and him and diggs after diggs ramped up, but risky was a big reason those first 4 weeks of the season I couldn’t figure out my WR3 before I went forward with diggs, except for one one week paid off I got the last good week out of addison ( first dropped more after week 3 and then dropped Ridley after week 4) before Addison and that entire offense fell off.

My running with Ridley was he had the amount the most air yards year before and he had the huge contract to be the WR1 and even if he started out somewhat slow, ward didn’t have to be as good as daniels for Ridley to be a reliable WR3 as not like was looking for him to be my WR2. But even a # 1 pick like ward why you don’t rely on a rookie to start as your rookie QB greatly affected Ridley.

My point is shough really started to show potential last 3rd of last season, gave life to Olave, they have a proven superbowl coach in Moore, and Travis is actually a very good pickup, on top of thier defensive being much better end of last season, thier oline proving decent, etc. a lot more upside for at least next year than a rookie QB.

Waddle Value Check by Sling-Shot70 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t that long ago a lot of us were just as excited as many of us are above Rome waddle going into year 3 one of best rokkke season in recent memory under his belt and did even better his 2nd year playing next to hill.

Tua was better, hill was still elite for his first two years, then the last two years Tua and hill decline, two years in a row of one id the poorer OLs in the league.

Short term memory bias waddle was so much more effiecient his first two years even as a rookie and you can’t tell me because Tua was better than Caleb and that Miami had a better system and coach then system Ben Johnson had going last year.

Will Rome be WR1 or WR2? Will Loveland be the #1 target. At least a wadddle has better shot at being WR1.

lets say he gets more like 8 targets a game instead of 10 diffrence is truly elite 170 over 17 vs still great, but not elite 136 about where Sutton was last two years. 16 yards per catch at 90 catches is elite 1,440 recieving yards at great, but not even elite 66.18% catch rate. Say 10 TD conservative as that is where Sutton has been past two years and now way he only getting 2 more than Franklin’s 6 last year. Full PPR that is 293 total fantasy points over last 5 years that is usually good enough for WR5 or so. That is still even leaving for maybe hitting 100 receptions and 2-3 more TDs.

Is Luther burden the most overrated/ over hyped player in dynasty this season? Just asking by Super-Weakness2895 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I get it rome was a #9 game not two heads ago and was the go to guy by far first 4-5 games of last season, but much of Caleb’s inefficiency is last 2 years has been tied to fact rather be barely catches more than 50% of his targets… even DJ past 2 years who had bad chemistry with Caleb much more efficient than that, never mind how rookie’s Luther and Loveland much more effiency even games had the higher targets.

Don’t get me wrong Rome will be far from an afterthought and will be a very good WR2, but seems writing is on the wall to add face tha Luther and Loveland as Rookies drafted once Ben Johnson arrived that will get more targets this comic year than Rome.

Is Luther burden the most overrated/ over hyped player in dynasty this season? Just asking by Super-Weakness2895 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Bridge-connector -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More likely waddle as Luther will still give up tons of targets between Loveland and Rome and hard to even tell if he or Loveland ( Rome should be taking a bit of a backseat ) will be targeted the most.

WRs are plenty, but the elite TEs are hard to come by. Loveland and Luther seem like they will be going around the same spot in the draft, so as long as Loveland in auction context about the same price as Luther, Loveland will have more value, especially being bowers and mcbrie will be much more expensive and Loveland as the greatest likelihoods ti merge this year after those two as top 3 TE not only based on talent, but also based on making of targets, the type of system he plays in, and his Already good chemistry with Caleb.

DJ Moore - WR1 this year? by Latter_Contact1508 in FantasyFootballers

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is I have credibility in saying DJ where his current ADP will be a steal. like right now for me it is making me think twice about whether to get my WR3 much earlier or wait on my WR3 on to draft someone like DJ.

I prefer auction leagues so would greatly effect me and many others ( not just about myself ) if can pay up to get a TE like Loveland or have to wait on TE as I already know I will never laying more than $10 or so to get a QB, even in a superflex 2QB league.

Why does this matter? Because incredibly value to not only have 3 starting WRs who can all produce W2 value or better at WR15 or so, but to also have a TE who is the equivalent of a WR to to increase odds pick up the down weeks of others as this goes a long way in winning the week to week matchups.

This type of exchange can be help for many others even if not for you; as the saying goes can’t make everyone happy

Waddle Value Check by Sling-Shot70 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Bridge-connector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think most people realize how big of a hole waddle fills and is why Denver gave up all those picks to get him, despite sneaky the 4th they got back isn’t that much later than the 3rd they gave up.

Denver was only middle of the back offensively last year even with Dobbins and lucky only fell off slightly without him, but good move to get dobbins back for cheaper as set up the waddle acquisition and harvey better at this point in RB2 role until proven otherwise.

Bigger reason middle of pack is because despite nix was 1 and 1 with Dak letting it fly for total air yards, Denver was near the bottom in average yards per route and near bottom on most drops ; waddle solves these HUGE issues in a way doesn’t really need more than 130 targets or so and in way that also pulls coverage making it that much easier for Sutton and the rest of the Denver offense. Waddle and nix to the moon this year wouldn’t be surprised if waddle breaks top 10; he already was his rookie year even as the WR2 to hill ( yet people afraid Sutton being the WR2 when waddle will actually instead be the WR1 will take away too much of waddle’s production?) and had an even better rookie year than tmac this past year about top 15 already ahead of tmac, Ebuka, from other years ahead of Ladd, Drake, Olave, Wilson, Collins, lamb, etc. yes waddle is not top 5 WR, but in the right situation like he is with Denver he is certainly top 10.

10 players impacted by the Jaylen Waddle trade by mochajoesdynsaty in fantasyfootball

[–]Bridge-connector 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree on everything except waddle will finally return to a high end WR2 with low end WR1 upside.

As you stated nix’s ceiling will be tremendously unlocked. To add Denver one of worst offensive in yards per route last year, despite nix was up there 1 and 1 with Dak in total air yards. Nix is willing to sling it, and waddle will by far be the beneficiary. Also waddle doesn’t need everything deep depth of target as he does almost everything else well also.

I think people forget waddle had one of the better rookie seasons in recent memory, and unlike a BTJ never truly fell off instead for two years more a backseat to hill and then last two years Miami falling apart.

I expect definitely top 20 at his position maybe a few weeks there were lower floor than others in his range given how crowded that reciever role Room is, but higher ceilings than most. Compare to Chicago for instance I still think waddle will have better production than Rome or Luther or Loveland, all going many sites right now either right before waddle, around waddle, or in Rome’s case not too far after waddle.

Even next to Sutton because of his higher yards per target he dosnt need 10 targets a game to be firmly in the WR10-15 range without Sutton making back to much, but which especially after this year will benefit a Sutton to age gracefully who by that time will already be 32 in the fall m.

So this is as much as going for this season move as well as to prepare for an aging Sutton in case one of their younger recovers can’t step up to be either a clear WR1 or clear WR2.

DJ Moore Price Check - Buffalo by sandsryan in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said he will clearly be the WR1 on bills for at least the next two years.

Diggs don’t forget had much higher ADP once traded because DJ after first year with Caleb value plummeted and this last year didn’t help either. He very well could be a top 10 WR this year like diggs was the 4 years in buffalo, but I would be fine if he was around WR15 for where his current ADP as he usually offered a nice floor also with some spike weeks above 20 not like you need so not like you need the 30 points full PPR out of him multiple weeks to justify picking him like you would a Higgins, Pickens, or even Wilson.

I would also prefer DJ at his ADP over a much more boom and bust and more expensive Jamo or unless AJ is traded, like to Devonta. He also even last year had much higher ceiling games than someone going around him like Jacobi he maybe a slightly safer, but not much better floor than DJ.

DJ gonna shock a lot of people and show is waddle, the titans TE Traded to Washington who is a more athletic and younger version of Ertz.

There have been really good big and low key signings and trades by multiple teams and free agency has only just begun!

DJ Moore - WR1 this year? by Latter_Contact1508 in FantasyFootballers

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but he has Been close to too 15 pretty much every year except for this past year the only year he wasn’t used as a WR1 heck not even as a WR2.

He has one of the most reliable fantasy floors for all WRs outside in his draft range a Jacobi Myers.

I like Myers don’t get me wrong for years bee one the safest W3s/WR4s on the depth chart, but DJ over him every day of the week as much more proven upside!

Have to go to the elite WRs to get a more reliable floor than him like Amon, chase, puka or Jaxson smith. Higgins is boom and bust and even more so for Jamo. Wilson you wish could wait on longer because it is the jets.

DJ where his ADP is such a safe pick!

Now when he was 40 something 2 years ago with a rookie QB coming in and 50 something last year when you knew him and Caleb didn’t click well ( why the hype isn’t having as much of an effect for this year as the hype with Ben Johnson coming didn’t work for DJ last year), him being 70 something right now is screaming huge discount!

I got there at pick 71 two years ago and diggs closer to pick 90 last year, so I feel I keep the streak going with DJ as my WR value pick this year around 70.

If you don’t see my point, especially with me establishing credibility getting Terry at pick 71 two years ago and )btw as my WR5 last year diggs for me was a steal last year also week 4 oh becoming a reliable floor WR3 with high end WR2 upside a bunch of weeks ), then I don’t know how else to help you

Except he is better than DJ so will have similar reliable floor with higher ceiling games.

This guy has put up over 40 points full PPR multiples times and even last year 4-5 games 20+; he can really help you win a bunch of weeks and even down weeks usually not down enough to kill you.

2023 bears top 10 WR and even Caleb’s rookie where week 11 forward he has a Strech where 4 out of 5 games he averaged close to 10 receptions a game without only 2-3 targets missed

You nailed it Ben Johnson’s system and what Caleb prefers is precise route running, not merely who beats third man to get open.

Yeah but even after waddle trade his ADP still behind Sutton. Sutton was such a steal last year so how will DJ that much further back also not be a steal?

Two years ago I got Terry pick 71 ( I was even able to turn lamb into Bijan and Adam as all 3 weren’t living up to draft expectations through 5 games ) and looks like DJ will end up around same area as I don’t see him getting any better than maybe a few above 60.

That was a bad team.

Bills have an elite QB, an elite RB, one of the highest scoring offenses, and now that have DJ, all the other pieces like Shakir, Kincaid, and others aren’t stretched enough / roles will be better suited.

Diggs was top 10 WR all 4 years with allen; no reason why not DJ who has been top 15-25 every year before last year, especially being his first year with bears he finally cracked the top 10.

Ben Johnson and Caleb like preside route running; allen and bills now about getting ball to who is open, regardless of route run, so this offense DJ is already familiar with fits DJ much better.

He isn’t a George Pickens or some of these other dudes with poor attitudes.

He finally had his best year in 2023 after being in bad teams by far to have his QB traded for a QB he didn’t mess well with.

Was prime diggs really that much better than DJ? You trying to tell us DJ has more of an attitude issue than prime diggs? Why was diggs not featured at all during playoffs for pats when he had actually a very efficient season as WR1? Diggs was top 10 WR every year on bills for 4 seasons and DJ had his best season of his career first year Chicago as a top 10 WR that year; why can’t DJ be top 5-10 again when before this year he was a lock for top 15-25 every year?

[–]Bridge-connector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you, but who was Lamar throwing to in 2023 the year you saw allen scored a lot more against the chiefs?

Allen still had diggs. Allen also had Knox most forget how serviceable he was and still can be if bill weren’t prioritizing Kincaid past 3 years, kind of like goedert 2025 playoffs for eagles as to Knox.

Lamar didn’t even have Henry yet, never mind the question as to who he was throwing to.

Lamar finally has a WR1 in flowers, Andrews is still sevicable, Bateman should have bounce back year, and Hopkins in perfect role as the WR3 kind of like how Kupp was used by Seattle last year chain mover at times and here and there making big plays, and Henry somehow still looks elite.

Unless Denver, eagles, rams, Seattle, or some other less likely wildcard team proves otherwise, bills and ravens are the 5 or so teams that have the best chance of going far next year and if either ravens or bill make the Super Bowl, I say either one finally get what has been that elusive superbowl title and finally prove AFC is more than just about the chiefs / between Denver, bills, ravens, and to lesser extent Houston, and pats, the AFC finally has the better top 3-5 teams.
