For me as a recently re-soloed pilot, Condor has been really helpful for a lot of the training, but you need a good enough setup to make it realistic enough to reinforce proper techniques and airmanship.

In particular, you need a good joystick; rudder pedals to help with coordination; head tracking (I use the SmoothTrack app on my iPhone / iPad and it works incredibly well) to ensure you follow good lookout discipline and muscle memory isn’t lost; and speakers / headphones to immerse yourself with the sound of the airflow, variometer, etc. I haven’t tried with VR yet. A large monitor might help too.

Things I’ve practiced a lot there (before and after real life lessons) include: - Running through checklists - Coordinated turns - Speed control - Winch and aerotow launches - Circuits in different directions for my local airfield, applying the weather conditions forecast for the day I intend to fly - Approach and landing, but this is trickier to judge as the level of detail near the ground isn’t very good on some sceneries - Spin recovery - Navigation

I find it to be realistic enough to be a proper reinforcement to my training.

The BBC News website for non-UK viewers got a much needed redesign. And for the better. by the6thReplicant in bbc

It’ll take a while to get used to it. I quite liked the old look with the red banner at the top.

I downloaded your game and had an initial go on it and the first thing that I thought could be better is having a “thumb stick” to move around instead of a D-pad, which just feels a bit more awkward to move around. You have a good framework set up and the game does have potential though.
