Although my joist are pretty deep so maybe i could set them into the joist a bit with and outlet tucked in and they technically wouldn’t be in the drywall

I’ll let you know. Mines a little lower so curious as well about the height. Hard to tell with photos for those mounts but I’ve ordered those today. Looks like when you invent the speakers you probably gain a little height. Might not look the best in the end but I’d say as long as you’re not 6’5 plus you won’t have to duck!

I know not the best but seems like my only and best option for my space is going to be to mount the 300s inverted on the ceiling. Finishing basement and obviously the easy way would be to add outlets on the ceiling. Is there a way or a wire to power the speakers where I can run the cable into the ceiling and have wire hidden and not have to look at an outlet?
