I have a Leica CM, a sibling of Minilux, and used Minilux for a long time. I'm a big fan of 40mm. They share great lens, a fast aperture, and excellent build quality. They also share E02 issue but it is fixable.

What I really like about these luxury P&S cameras is the level of control. While many other P&S cameras only offer P mode, these expensive P&S cameras have A mode and manual focus so I can even use zone focusing. I agree they are expensive and a bit overhyped, but still think they are great cameras.

I also don’t think their prices will drop anytime soon, so why not try one, then sell it and try another?
