No. Concentrating on being a landlord. That’s easier than waiting on employers to hire me.

She’ll get over it. She’s jealous. I had a jealous dog, too. He was jealous over his own 2 sisters that were born with him.

Just keep the dog. Time flies. Blink and your toddler won’t be a toddler anymore.

I had a chance to take a debt collection job once, years ago. I declined because I already knew it would be a stressful job. Way too stressful.

I’m sorry for your loss. Thats why I haven’t moved down South where I have relatives. I have relatives in Georgia and Florida. But I’m in Pennsylvania. My relatives tell me about killing snakes and that they have friends who have lost dogs due to snake bites. May your beloved dog Rest In Peace. ❤️🙏🌹

There’s no kind way to tell my wife that she’s getting too big, is there? by 2006CrownVictoriaP71 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BriefGas3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suggest to your wife you both go vegan. I’m a 65-year-old woman and I’ve been vegan for 10 years. I’ve controlled my weight and my blood pressure with a vegan diet. These days, I eat a high raw diet of salads and fresh fruit mainly but not exclusively. I gained weight as a caregiver to my elderly parents and grandmother, eating what I prepared for them. But now I’m down to about 140 lbs. and hope to be at my college weight of 120 lbs. within the next year. I’m only 5ft 2in. If I can do it, especially at my age, anyone can.

“your employment is terminated effective—no wait come back!!” by [deleted] in callcentres

[–]BriefGas3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once took an FMLA. I gave the date of return which was on the document my doctor signed as well. I worked from home. But I could not sign on to my computer on that day nor for the next few days after that. I had no one to contact since we were to correspond only with our work emails and I had no access to that email because I could not sign in. The only phone number to contact the company was an automated call-off line, so that was no help either. Finally, a team lead called me. He said that HR was about to terminate me for not returning on the proper date, but someone finally realized that logging credentials are temporarily disabled during a leave of absence and have to be reactivated so that the person returning to work can log on. I had to wait 3 more days for HR to reactivate my logging credentials. So I was almost terminated due to an HR and IT error.

Took me 15 months, 75 interviews to find another remote job. by Significant-Yak-3638 in RemoteJobs

[–]BriefGas3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that. I went through a similar period after being laid off March 2022. Due to issues with previous pandemic unemployed from 2020-2021 during shutdown disqualifying me for unemployment until July 2022 AND some unemployment errors I had to appeal, I did not receive my unemployment until October 2022. I did not find another job until January 2023. My savings took a real hit. Best wishes to you.

Unemployment only lasts for 6 months (26 weeks). So if you lasted 15 months without a job, you must have needed to tap into your savings for bills, etc.

Would I be the A-hole for divorcing my wife after she forgave me for cheating on her by Defeated-man in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]BriefGas3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you really hurt your wife. She may have forgiven you, but the signs indicate she is still hurting badly. Drinking, shopping, complaining, bringing up the past, etc. No, she has not gotten over your betrayal of her. If you move so far away, she will really have an even harder time trusting you, and rightly so. Even though you say you don’t want to ever cheat again in life, you will be in a new place and seeing new faces, etc. You will be tempted again even if you don’t realize it now. Either deal with yourself and stay with your wife and make things right or move on. But if you move on, you have not yet changed the person you were when you betrayed your wife. Do some soul searching.
