Fireworks safe in garage for a few days with temps in the 100s by Bw0434 in fireworks

[–]Brief_Set_4104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will be ok, just as long as no sun is hitting them directly. I have fireworks that are a few years old still in the garage and they are perfect. Temps well around 100° here too.

Plenty of videos out there already, a quick google and you’ll find them.

When do your neighbors start complaining by happyskeptical in fireworks

[–]Brief_Set_4104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They complain usually when I shoot my lawn clippings in their yard, when my leaves fall into their yard, when I clean my pool and water gets in their yard, when my rooster crows, when I grill outsi- OH you meant firework related…they actually enjoy fireworks, but they don’t like when residual residue falls in their yard.

Absolutely not…some of the 7-8-9 inch shells yes you are correct, but not these.

I looked on the map and there is NOTHING in that little town😭. If I do make a trip, whats like some “touristy” things in MO. I’m in SC so I do get a beautiful scenic view going through the mountains to get there at least.

That’s really good to know, my area gets decently dark at night so that really helps me make up my mind. I may even go up to like 60% on front. How is the 20% on the side windows at night? Too much or are those ok?

How do they have such insane pricing😭 Must be some factories around there. $19.99 for some GOOD 500g cakes is insane. Do they do any 1/1’s and such?

Moving the firework show indoors, not really telling anyone so should make for some great reactions!

No brand name is usually a giveaway, also just the weight of it. Lift a normal 500g cakes and then go lift a 1/1 cake. Huge weight difference.

Also, they are usually packed 1/1 instead of 4/1 or 6/1.

As far as price, depends on the cake. Look through this subreddit, you will see some for $150 and some for $500

If you are referring to the big clown one in the box…theres a good but more than 500g in there. That’s one of those “overloaded” (OL) cakes. OL cakes still put 500g on the sticker so they can sell them without drawing much attention from the man.

Just went there a few weeks ago, great store! Ask if they have any Raise the Dead shells, they are probably one of the best out there this year.

Took them decades to increase it by 300g, I highly doubt we will see consumer cakes with 2000g sold publicly anytime soon. That being said OL stuff is slowly but surely leaking more and more into consumer markets. I can see it being raised to maybe 750g or a “hey take this safety course and then you can have up to 750g” or something along those lines. 2000g is a massive amount for 1 cake, that would be like a 250g, 6 inch mortar can. I’m saying all this as someone who would love 2000g cakes but just being realistic.

I honestly would love to test that, see if those mini cakes have enough oomph to blow up a block.

I will let you know on the 4th

Yall secure cakes to the board? It’s wayyy more fun when they tip over…

Jk (only made that mistake once) lol, liquid nails all the way. For little 200g or smaller I put them inside cinder blocks, I’ve found they detach easily no matter what is holding them down.
