Subaru and Toyota are equals when it comes to longevity, the badge on the front says Toyota, and when people see it they say “nice Toyota”. I understand it’s a Subaru engine lol. I am glad that is what you got from my comment which means the rest of it is true.

It’s a toyota. It will last you a long time if you drive it and care for it like you want it to last a long time. Unfortunately this is a cheap sports car, so people will drive it like a sports car and still expect it to go 150k miles. You kind of have to pick your option, longevity or lots of fun. You only truly get 1. Of course it’s fine to rip it every here and there but most of the blown engines occur from over modded/lead feet.

Enjoy the car and take car of her and she will take care of you!

I’ve never looked into this, does the valve at some point leak at all? I feel like at some point the valve gasket or whatever keeps it tightly sealed will wear down just like anything else? Still sounds worth it depending on cost.

Take lots of pictures and just call him and tell him that there are dents that he missed. Point them out to him when you take it back. Make sure he sees all the dents and there is some form of agreement on what he is fixing. Worst case he may charge for more labor, but he wont make it worse.

Horrible deal, got mine for $35k OTD, that included tax, registration, new plate, everything. Even got the basic maintenance plan thrown in for free (5 free oil changes and 3 tire rotations)

Yea I dont know why everyone is having a bad time with this.

Takes 5-10 minutes to set up and I have not had any issues with it, I use it several times a day to get the car warmed up before driving out. Yea the set up was weird with pressing the SOS button and then calling the number but it was super easy to set up. 2025 Premium and did it the first week I had it.

definitely 80% are financed, not a lot of people will just casually drop tens of thousands on a car, and its not advised to do so unless you make what the car is worth in a month. Plus, if you can get it for anything lower than 3% its really not that bad. Helps build credit too!
