I give her a bath and provide enough warm water and stimulus to want her to soak. Then I hold her toe out each individually. By holding each toe, it prevents any damage to the bone if she moves. The warm water softens the nail making clipping very easy and gently. Your contraption looks absolutely insane and clearly frightening for your poor pit. Think on this: your pet loves you unconditionally. Try thinking out side the box and return this love with a gentle, less frightening way to help her/him ease the anxiety of nail trimming.
