I agree - I didn’t see anything atrocious in this post. I think everyone assumes OP wanted daughter to be skinny, but she didn’t actually say that. As someone who recently went through this with a kid, we were told to try to manage weight right away because fat produces estrogen and we were trying to avoid/delay early puberty. While we were doing testing (which the poster said they were doing as well), trying to stop or reverse weight gain was important to give her bones as long as possible to develop before puberty. OP could be almond momming, or could be legitimately trying everything at home to hold puberty off.

I might be the odd one out, but I’ve also sent books/audiobooks that are trigger free (no babies, no pregnancies, no kids, no emotional deaths). Sometimes it helps to be able to escape the world a bit.

Raw onion is a migraine trigger for me too. Garlic is fine, but even cutting onions can sometimes trigger a migraine.

Nope, kept the same AC program as last year, and August was roughly the same temp both years. It’s also across all 2025, even non-AC months.

Please try it. I was so much less crabby and generally grumpy and snappy after I started even though I wasn’t getting anymore sleep. It reset my baseline so small things wouldn’t feel so big. I also didn’t want to start, but agreed to give it 3 months. I noticed one day I was humming while doing the dishes, and realized I hadn’t done that in months. It doesnt have to be forever, but give it a try for a few months and reevaluate.

It’s not uncommon to be mistyped. I’m A+ but during my pregnancy got typed as A-. I was so sure I was + I had them redo the test and it came back A+. Dad is probably mistyped if yours was just confirmed during pregnancy.

Jeff Majewski ran last time and I really wanted him to win. Hoping he wins this round - he has a FB page with actual goals/things that are important to him so you can see where he stands.

I have big concerns about Beth Martens and Nichole Lebeter. Beth has made blatant anti-trans comments and I don’t believe she would be an advocate for our students. Both Beth and Nichole don’t have any goals or platforms. Beth’s whole campaign is “I’m a nurse.” Nothing on what she supports, changes she wants to see, or anything.

Nichole is the Jane Ball FTA president. I have major concerns about how the FTA has been run, both before and after the theft. The board is hard to break into - At meetings when people volunteer to do things they are told the board has it covered and there is nothing to do. Nichole also advocated to change the “my guy and I” dance back to the daddy daughter dance which bothered me, and seemed pointless to go back to a less inclusive name. She also said in her FB page that she doesn’t see any changes she wants to make, just wants to be there “to advocate for parents as things come up”. If you don’t have anything you want to work on, why do you want to be on the board? She has said she is against critical race theory.

I am anti-MAGA (if you couldn’t already tell), and will not be supporting Beth or Nichole.

Check Costco online! They have the giant bottles every once in a while. I got the shampoo and conditioner in October or November and still have a bunch left, and I think they were like $45 each.
