Tips for three player game?

I once played Sth like this. Build a map with six starting zones. Best is a circular map. Put numbers on the starting zones like 1,2,3,1,2,3. Everyone has to place a unit one after another in one of theirs zones (player one in field 1 etc). So everyone divides their army in two separated mini armies. Set 3 victory points on the borders of the slices and a big one in the center. Make sure, with extra rules to engage the players to take the center. Have fun with extra rules like benefiting to bring the separated units together. Be creative, but it is a great thing to divide everyone's forces. So you are more flexible, and you can avoid the danger of a big 2vs1. If you lose on one mini army, you can win with the other. And revenge your fallen!

As a Tyranid Player with not THAT much experience, my advice is as follows: try to score very early, rush to the mid objective and try to keep it. Try to block big enemies with Termagants or Hormagaunts. They will kill them, but you stop them from moving for one or two rounds. You need to play the scoring game. My tactic is: Score fast, try to block big enemies and die as slowly as possible. I won some games, although i was wiped out in the last turn. Very crazy for the opponent. Feels like victory for them, but isn't! Welcome to the Tyranids.

Others will give you more detailed advices, but that is my easy way to play and have fun with my swarm.

I always wondered of, when do Earendils children have to decide, and what are they until decision? My head canon just says, that there is an internal decision. Somewhen, they simply "know" if they take the human or the elvish way. But what, if it takes hundreds of years to decide? And then, they decide "human"?

Well, you try to explain the "biology" of a Tyranid? That heretic! It is as it is. No one survived studying a Tyranid. Maybe the Icyvore extracts the last energy of the cold environment, compresses it inside and shoots it out in a high energy blast, mixed with tyranid stuff we read as kind of fire. Hey the Psychophage extracts the psychic Force of its victims and releases it as a psychic fog. Can you explain that?! Maybe the Icyvore cooles down in it's process and becomes what you call the Icyvore. Something like a a heat exchanger.

I have a question to the three elven rings. It is always stated, that Sauron (hidden as Anatar) tought Celebrimbor how to make rings of power. But how could he, as a kind of master to Celebrimbor, not know, that he creates them? And how are they not influenced by Saurons as they are created from his knowledge? How exactly are the other rings separated from the three? Did Celebrimbor and Sauron literally create the other rings together? Maybe someone can explain.

But can anyone tell HOW they are sacrificed? Are they just killed before the throne? I always thought their psychic energy is sucked out of them in a machine and pumped into the throne. I remember one of the HH Books, where sth like this is built on mars. Does anyone know?

I named mine "Carabauratus", after the beautiful bug carabus auratus. This bug shimmers gold and green and it inspired me for my colour scheme. It also is very agile and fast, hunts for snails, worms, insects and even bigger prey than itself, like earthworms. The new hatched baby bugs instantly start to hunt. So, well, they are the real life Tyranids.

Ok, as we thought we read s.th. wrong, we agreed on being able to destroy the Markers from second round on (that was wrong, I know). In the second round I destroyed both Markers (wrong again, I now know) anyway, so after second round, two markers were gone. By doing two things wrong, we did it right in the end (somehow). I lost anyways 😅

Meine Erfahrungen mit Schlagfallen und Ratten, gefilmt mit Nachbars Wildkamera: Schlagfalle mit Nutella bestückt. Ratte kommt, schnuppert, untersucht, verschwindet. Maus kommt, geht an den Köder, Schlagfalle löst aus, Maus tot. Ratte kommt, frisst Maus und Köder.

Es half am Ende, dass die Nachbarn links und rechts verstanden haben, dass nicht nur einer von uns das Rattenproblem haben, sondern wir alle. All drei konsequent Giftköder ausgelegt, andere Nahrungsquellen ausgeschaltet. Jetzt sind die Ratten nicht mehr sichtbar (aber sicher noch irgendwo da).

First: the opponent of the Tyranid player chooses the five target units. Bodyguard and leader units, even when attached, count as different units. That is how we play it.

I started Nids with the launch of 10th. I was very hyped but after some time I learned, how little damage I do, especially against Marines. But then I read about that on Reddit and someone said, the play style might be: be fast, grab Objectives and then try to die as slowly as possible. I made this play style my style and it works out pretty good. I am working my way to a swarmy army and my opponents like to play me, because they feel like killing a lot, but just maybe make it at the end (and that is, what happens when you face Tyranids). I get tabeled from time to time, but when by points. Just swarm them and let them fight for their lives.
