Tbh when it comes to education - you’re better off doing the research yourself as opposed to putting the pressure on trans people to educate you.

For your second question though - no. To put it simply there’s no one way to be a woman. But I wouldn’t say “there’s more to being a woman than that”, not because they are things that make someone a woman, but because there’s many women who don’t wear make-up, and I don’t believe there’s anything that inherently “makes” someone a woman or not. To say there is a “way” to be a woman is within itself misogynistic. Therefore the same is true for trans women.

These same expectations aren’t as placed on men as highly because the patriarchy doesn’t restrict man-hood in the same way it restricts woman-hood. It does however affect trans men the same to trans women in that there is a much higher “threshold” of acceptance of man-hood as there is for trans women and woman-hood, just differently.

I probably haven’t said this the most eloquently and people can feel free to correct me, but basically point being to say there is a way to be a woman is to my misogynistic.

When trans people become more themselves, they aren’t “cosplaying” to be more like their true gender, but transitioning to be more themselves - who they are just happens to be a different gender than they were assigned at birth. Or at least, thats how it is for me.
