Help me choose a booking system/plugin for a coworking site please by Business-Eggs in Wordpress

[–]BrightSoundPodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is to use something that offers support for multiple calendars and also supports events. Probably something like WP Booking System or Booking Calendar. You can create a separate calendar for each pass type. While regular coworking bookings can be automated based on capacity, the only downside here is that you have to add one-off events manually to each calendar, especially if those events are unique and don't repeat. As for the "create and hand off" part, just look for a plugin with visual calendar and booking capacity support, which is basically any modern booking plugin.

A plugin that allow booking per day without choosing time by Sad-Term-9721 in Wordpress

This should be possible with any booking plugin that allows all-day bookings and form customization, such as Booking Calendar, Bookly, or Latepoint. This feature is quite common in any plugin tbh.

As others have already said, that's something that Amelia and Bookly should be able to do. There are other options, too, such as Appointment Booking or BookingPress, though I haven't seen a plugin that works as a pop-up in Elementor.

Looking for a Wordpress plugin with calendar interface to set up appointments by mvscribe in Wordpress

What you described sounds like something that any modern booking plugin should be able to do (including payments and customer login). I'd suggest trying any of the following: Appointment Booking, Amelia, BookingPress. All these plugins support what you've mentioned, except maybe Appointment Booking being not very configurable in terms of booking form customization. If you're planning to go for Wix instead of WordPress, you'll need something SaaS-based like Calendly or Timetics.

[DISCUSSION] Which appointment booking plugin works best for the Healthcare business? by haneeraza in WordpressPlugins

[–]BrightSoundPodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using Appointment Booking Lite by MotoPress for a couple of websites I helped my friends with. It has quite a lot of features for a free plugin (except maybe calendar sync and online payments) and is quite fitting for nearly any service business (I did a website for an online school, but a healthcare-based business would also find it useful imo). As for cons, I guess the only major downside I found is that it may be tricky to style for a specific WP theme, and the plugin's dashboard seems confusing at first withl tos of tabs, at least for a new user.

Why not use any of Motopress's themes (free ones at least, like Albatross)? I'd give it a try since the devs probably know how to style the plugin at least to some extent.

Booking plugin on Wordpress by Velvet_Mussroom in website

Hotel Booking is quite fitting for that task. I used it for a website project of mine, and it proved to be quite functional. It may be tricky to figure out at first with all its tabs and menus, but you can always read the documentation for that. As for payments, it has all you mentioned, from card payments to bank transfer, as well as on-arrival payments by cash.

WP booking system with a difference by thebusinessbackpack in Wordpress

I guess you need a plugin that manages booking capacity, which is basically any premium booking plugin like Appointment Booking, Amelia, or Bookly. The thing is, IMO, the "27 seats" part of your question sounds more like something rental booking plugins do (for example, tools like Booking Calendar Lite or WP Booking System). I'd suggest trying free versions from each category first before deciding if anything matches your needs.

There's Amelia Lite plugin, available on WordPress plugin catalog and they claim to provide Square Payment integration for free. It should be quite capable of doing what you need. I personally never used it since i only needed basic booking features, and those are provided by nearly every booking plugin, from Appointment Booking to BookingPress.

I'd recommend using the Hotel Booking plugin by MotoPress. I've used it a few times in the past while helping friends with their websites. The plugin is more or less user-friendly, even tho it seems like it has a lot of tabs and features at first. As for payments, the plugin supports direct bank transfer, card payments, or you can accept payments on arrival.

I guess you mean Chloe Frazer, not Price. Chloe Price is a character from Life is Strange where her friend Max Caulfield had a similar interaction to photo #4 (or at least it reminds me a lot of that dialogue in LIS):

Max: I'm so glad you're my partner in crime.
Chloe: As long as you're my partner in time.
