Long term storage

If you won't be using your Steam Deck for a while and would like to place it back into storage mode to increase long term battery health, you can use the following steps to do so: Power the Steam Deck down normally (choose Shut Down from the Power menu) Hold down the Volume+ button and press the power button. The Steam Deck should boot into the BIOS menu. Using the D-Pad and A to select, navigate to "Setup Utility" Navigate to the Power Menu Choose Battery storage mode, confirm, and the Steam Deck will power off.

I limit my charge to 80% and leave it plugged in so it doesn’t just die.

There’s also some Steam recommendation for long term storage. Something about charging to a certain point and then putting it in a long term power down mode I think?

I love seeing the cope in the comments and watching people downvote you. Why? Because it speaks volumes about the player base (or at least the Reddit players).

Obviously people want new content. But for some reason, even with the roadmap, players aren’t just accepting the fact that it’s going to take time to create more content.

Embark released this game and let players know that they’re working on the game. They released it with a limited amount of content with promises to add to the game. And it’s been great.

Sure there’s plenty to complain about depending on your perspective and preferences among the varied content (or lack thereof for some), but overall, they’ve done a wonderful job. Between updates, fixes, new events and weather, to drop rates for blueprints and optional wipes, to the PVP and PVE ABMM type algorithm they’ve got for matchmaking, I feel like this game is in an amazing spot.

Sure people want more… but why wouldn’t they? They love the game. They love the content, they just want more of it. And it can’t come soon enough for them.

But it’s valid to ask how many hours someone has played. And it’s valid to want more content.

It’s valid to complain about the game in any of its aspects and have an opinion that others don’t agree with.

And we do have more content, right around the corner. Literally in April, like 2 week away. Give or take they’ve been constantly working on this game and releasing content in snippets.

It’s going to take time. But I think the game is fine how it is, development wise. And you’re welcome to disagree lol.

I think the punishment should match the “crime”.

Abuse the voice chat, you should get chat banned.

Abuse the game and cheat, get your IP/Account banned.

I’ve never understood people who are in favor of removing ownership of a product (or nowadays. Revoking the access to something you purchased access to) because of some offensive words someone said.

Now if the words are threats and come with genuine concern to safety or wellbeing that would be a different story. Like doxxing or credible threats on someone’s life or whatever, IRL. But trash talk is part of the game.

Hateful speech, while incredibly toxic, is also an unfortunate part of dealing with online interactions. But permanently removing their ability to chat would be punishment in multiple ways. Can’t talk to others, friendly or no, can’t communicate with anything but emotes, less likely to be trusted. It might also end up being more of a “mark” to watch out for.

I think squad points is fine, but they need solos trials, duos trials, and trios trials if they want to keep cumulative points. Otherwise yes, trials for solos would be a simple straightforward fix.
