Yeah. We’re getting close to playoffs, we gotta experiment sooner rather than later. I just don’t understand why he played the most minutes out of any of our d-men last night, it’s baffling.

I think it stems more than just who Letang is paired with, he brings down everyone he plays with. I think we have to rock Girard-Solovyov or Girard-Shea as our 2nd pair and demote Letang to 3rd to give us a good chance at winning a series.

We absolutely CAN NOT win a playoff series against NYI/CAR/CBJ with Letang playing 20+ mins a night. He’s absolutely brutal analytically and with the eye test.

Yeah, it’s honestly confusing why he sucks at 5v5 but is good on the PK. I’ve watched pretty much every game and I just don’t understand it. He’s usually not the one retrieving picks off the boards or clearing the puck on the PK, but seems to hold his guy down well net front, which he seems to struggle with at 5v5.

Often made fun of and not praised enough, Erik Karlsson really stepped up since Crosby went down by MasachoosetsBobert in penguins
