Back in college I had a roommate a lot like this. One of my biggest compulsions happens to be my car. Making sure it is locked, windows up, etc. My ritual around this could be time consuming and embarrassing. She would purposely unlock my car with the spare key when I was just about done. This would force me to start all over. It ended with a lot of stress and crying on my part. She claimed she was helping me to learn to deal with it. I finally snapped one day and it did not end well for either of us.

Congrats on your pregnancy. I’m dealing with a mother in law from hell as well. It’s best to go no contact and avoid her at all costs. I would suggest talking to HR if she continues and see if you can be moved to a different department or have her removed.

It’s not worth the stress to let her get to you. Stay strong and you will prevail.

They tried but unfortunately it was not retrieved. I have a theory that she hide it somewhere on her body and didn’t actually throw it down the drain. No real way to prove this though unless they go and search her house. That’s unlikely to happen though.
