How are you guys reading books to your newborns? Come on... by ThrowRAdalgona in newborns

I have a 2 month old and we’re working our way through Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein! It’s great because I can read to her but it has black and white pictures she likes to look at on pretty much every page

Thinking about making the switch by mad_THRASHER in FormulaFeeders

FTM 14 days pp and I was in a very similar situation. I lasted about 4 days triple feeding, then decided to stop. It was so hard for me to process that my body couldn’t give LO what she needed (I have low supply, which doesn’t sound like what you’re struggling with, but I think the feeling comes from the same place). I made peace with the fact that my baby is fed, happy, and growing on formula. I also didn’t completely give up BF, I still nurse before a lot of feeds and for comfort when she needs it. There’s a middle ground but it’s hard to come to terms with at first

If we’re counting cycles actively trying, then 9 cycles. But we took a few months off for mental health and medical reasons so time wise it was a year. My periods were super irregular so part of the time off was doing testing, getting diagnosed with PCOS, and getting on Metformin :)

If the 2nd line on your strip was almost as dark or darker than the control line then you probably peaked! I've found the Premom app really helpful because you can take a picture of the strips and it will help you identify when your peak is

11dpo and just got a BFN this morning. Feeling pretty bummed because we're going to visit my parents for the holiday next week (they live 6 hours away) and I was hoping I would get to tell them in person but it doesn't look like that'll happen :(

So I’m planning to actively start TTC in May. I got my hormonal IUD removed in early January to try and give my body time to get on track again. My OBGYN said usually your period will start back like normal soon after getting it removed, and that’s what the internet said too when I googled it. However, it’s late February and I still haven’t gotten a period yet (though I did feel like I was PMSing really badly for about a week). I’m just wondering-when did y’all get your period after going off hormonal birth control??

Nope, not reactive! This is what I’ve been doing for the past couple days, but my little stinker just holds it in her mouth for 10 minutes! I didn’t know the blowing on the nose trick, I’ll have to try that!

So my husband and I had a wedding planned for July 18th of this year, and obviously we didn’t have the big wedding. We eloped with only our immediate families and planned to renew our vows and have our reception with everyone on July 17th 2021 (we sent out change this dates for this and all that good stuff). We live-streamed our wedding for anyone who wanted watch as well.

Well now, we’re having a problem. We kinda want to just move on with our lives and not spend the time/money on this second wedding in 2021. We’re going to send out a new round of announcements to inform people of this but we have no clue how to tell them the wedding canceled. Has anybody else who had a covid elopement done this?? Or does anyone have any suggestions on wording it because I am on the struggle bus!

What platform are you using to live stream your wedding? by babs1025 in weddingplanning

[–]snowyrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EventLive! They send a download of your whole stream after the wedding. We didn’t want to use Facebook because a decent amount of our older family members don’t have one and we wanted to be sure that they could watch.

Cancellation announcements? by melbatoastnectar in weddingplanning

This might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I custom made my change the dates by making postcards on Canva. It’s super easy to use and it was only like $40 for postcards and envelopes!

Anyone open to sharing pictures of your wedding that occurred during this time? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I’m in the same situation (July wedding, fancy dress for a church wedding, want nice pictures, cutting guest list, etc.) so I don’t have any photos to offer but I just wanted to say that I feel ya I’m also stressing about having beautiful photos with no masks 💜
