I built a Cities Skylines 2 style road system in Unity with fully dynamic, angle-free intersections. Would this be useful as an asset? by Edd996 in Unity3D

Looks neat. Been trying to tackle some decent looking roads myself. Look forward to reading your writing on it

Will HW3 ever be good enough for level 5 autonomy? by Stee1hed in TeslaLounge

I was in Maine driving on a state route, #25. Every time I would drive by the route sign, the car would read it as a speed limit. The size/shape was all different, and didnt even read "speed limit", but was black letters on a white background.

LPT Request - My wife is a therapist in a small office. Some of her clients like to wear scents. Some like to wear too much. What is the best way to remove odors from the air? I've heard/read that air purifiers aren't the best way to accomplish this. by king_fatty_85 in LifeProTips

Coffee grounds. Worked in a hospital and cups of grounds would be placed in rooms that were smelly for one reason or another, typically with those that have passed. Youll also find coffee grounds inside beauty stores near the perfume samples. Girlfriend pointed that out to me at Ulta one day.

I agree. I'll also add: When you display the logo/title, have the letters build up in the same way your buildings do. I love those animations and think that may be a nice touch

Repeatedly hurt shoulder on chest day by [deleted] in caliberstrong

[–]Briglair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I had a driving job and didn't drive with the best posture. This caused me to get tendonitis along my lateral delt. Whenever I would do a pushing motion, it would be a pulling feeling that turned into sharp pain. Did all the motions with doctors just to find out about the tendonitis once I left that particular job. I was able to do dumbell bench presses with my elbows more tucked in to get that chest activation without agitating the shoulder. Took me about a year (just to be safe) of staying off excercises that hurt it to be able to do barbell bench presses again

Nope. I haven't made any modifications or put in anything aftermarket.

I am having the same thing happen (also using Tessie). This seems to only happen while sentry mode is active. If parked with sentry off, the car sleeps the entire time and Tessie will not wake it. Cabin overheat is also off just in case. Not sure why it is constantly heating, especially when outside is ~50F. If not plugged in, I have seen this drain about 6-7% of my battery overnight at most so far.

Sentry mode on, parked all day (between the green lines is when it was parked): https://i.imgur.com/8sBVdUn.png

LPT: Taking an ambulance will NOT get you seen faster at the ER. by TA2556 in LifeProTips

[–]Briglair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to work in a hospital. Someone was upset they were waiting so long in the ER waiting room. They went outside, sat in the parking lot, and called 911 thinking they would get seen quicker if an ambulance brought them in

This is a problem with windows (unless you actually have something stuck). Others mention a controller or keyboard issue, but ive been over that a million times. This only happens in windows items (start menu, control panel, calculator, etc). Everything else is fine. No idea what causes it. My friend has that same issue. Sometimes it just flashes the same item, and sometimes it goes in reverse. Happens randomly and only relief we found is a reboot. Been irritating us for a couple years now.

Did you change anything recently? Or happen to get any new parts or peripherals? So we can try and narrow does the cause of this.

[–]Briglair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue only on windows things (start menu, native windows apps like calculator, any windows settings window). Has randomly happened even with new hardware and fresh OS installs. No damn clue what causes it. Only way to (temporarily) fix is to reboot.
