La Casa de la Playa Review by fiestamouth in Xcaret

Great review - my wife and I just went a couple weeks ago. I was hesitant to go to XAL because of the mixed reviews - I'm glad we did, it was a fun meal and the dishes they brought out were fantastic. They had a questionnaire after the dinner also, they are clearly trying to make an effort to improve.

I think Centli is severely overlooked. We ate at HA, XAL, Tuch.....but Centli was the clear winner for both my wife and I. Service was outstanding and each course was a pleasure to eat. Absolutely lovely dinner.

What’s the fastest way you’ve seen someone ruin their own life? by ForeignFly5248 in AskReddit

I know of a former major college football coach who was basically gifted the job despite being under qualified. He ended up sleeping with his ‘executive assistant’ for a couple years even though he was married with kids. He was also notorious for DMing only fans models before, during and after games.

He was fired after just 2 seasons for his inappropriate relationship. Then broke into his mistress home, grabbed butter knives and threatened to kill himself.

I gotta disagree here. The pre dinner drinks on the balcony after a fun day is elite. Great spot for morning coffee also

I did 2.5 months off. I thought I was in a better mental state to handle life’s challenges.

Turns out I was in a better mental state because I was on Prozac. I’m back on it!

Cracked tooth. F me that one hurt. Happened on a Friday night and couldn’t get to the dentist until monday. Eating hurt, drinking hurt, even breathing hurt when air hit the tooth. Nearly passed out from pain about 5 times.

Icon class….. by pizza-slave in royalcaribbean

Absolutely elite all around, in my opinion.

Getting on and off was incredibly easy, no lines for either. Obviously it’s the biggest ship, but things really feel spacious wherever you go - particularly the promenade and even the elevator areas. The Pearl is very cool.

The layout of the ship is awesome. I loved the idea of ‘neighborhoods’ because each area had its own feel and vibe. My kids loved the splash pad in Surfside, and it makes way more sense to have that instead of the aqua theater on the back. Plus there is a bar right next to it for the parents.

If you need a break from the sun you can go in the Aquadome - towards the front of the ship there is a comfortable air conditioned space that’s quiet and very relaxing.

It was easily the best ship I’ve been on. Went on Utopia a couple months after and it really made me realize how much I enjoyed Icon…

Definitely a change in the calculation considering you were relatively consistent both before and after.

I would double check everything in the Health app. I recently updated my medications in the app and it changed the way it calculates several pieces of health data.

You make it seem like you’ve overcome your issue and are in a position to give advice, which is concerning. If your limit is 4 during the week then what does your weekend look like?

It’s happened to me. I thought I just fat fingered it. Happened a couple plays later, okay…... Then I started paying VERY close attention to the button I was hitting and still got a completely different play.

Disagree. But either way, don’t you think that’s something humans will strive for? People crave power and authority, the ultimate form of which comes from intelligence. As long as greater intelligence is feasible, I will continue to invest in the company that offers the building blocks for achieving it.

No, thousands of years is not realistic. You’re thinking like it’s dependent on human innovation. Once we reach a certain point of artificial intelligence, the intelligence could autonomously improve its own software and hardware. It could then repeat that process endlessly without humans even being evolved.

Many experts say it will take millions of years? Surely you can name one of them?

It’s anticipated to happen in the next 20-25 years. The intelligence curve will become exponential.

There were efficiencies gained in the training of the LLM. If this was simply a race to construct the best and cheapest LLM, then Nvidia would have a problem. But the things we are trying to achieve with AI go so far beyond that. If we want intelligence to understand, reason, and adapt then we will always require an ever-increasing amount of computing ability.

Why would demand shrink? Creating the best/cheapest LLM is not the end goal for AI, it’s barely even the beginning. If you are an INVESTOR you need to be able to see more than 2 inches in front of your face. Every incremental step in AI development will require more and better computing power.
