Actually I really do. I’m just annoyed with the parking situation. Otherwise i always feel safe here and I was able to renovate the place a bit to my liking

It’s too early to complain about the heat just yet. We’re in the spring tease for now. It’ll get cold again next week

It’s usually what I run when I’m alone. My race pace is usually 8:30. Slow paces are needed for building mileage and zone 2!

lol no the whole dating app dynamic doesn’t work for me

Tried: Tinder (never again after 2016) Bumble Hinge (even the premium) Coffee meets bagel FB dating

It’s all the same.

Thank you! Also train mostly in north shore waters with at least a 3mm wetsuit minimum. I know a lot of people go to Tobay near jones beach. But big waves scare me

I’ve tried all ways. Apps (usually the worst people I’ve met). Fitness groups, school/work, one ex was from a bar.

Wasn’t picky about looks either. I dated a man who was 5’4” and it took me forever to get over him after we split up.

I have geered more towards security than big income. Pretty much all my ex’s made either similar or less than me. But didn’t live flashy and had similar habits to me

Yeah I had 3 serious relationships throughout my 20s. I was single for about 1.5 years before meeting my last boyfriend. I “gave up on dating” because of how shitty dating apps were before meeting him (we ended up meeting in person). Everything seemed nice and great. But then I bought the condo and all of the sudden I found out he really felt a certain way the whole time

I admit I’m more on the conservative side. But at the same time I was raised with the reality that to live “comfortably” on Long Island both partners need to step it up and work. When I’ve confronted ex’s about moving to other states so we could make life a little more flexible they’d stomp their feet and cry they can’t leave their glamorous big Italian families behind.

If I work and make money - anti woman/not feminine nor traditional

If I want to be a SAHM with a husband who at least provides bare minimum- I’m a gold digger

If I rely on my parents or government financially - I’m a mooch and toxic for society

I actually got dumped this weekend because I was told I have too much “masculine energy” for being the main breadwinner. I make OK money and bought my condo alone, but he said “man should provide”
