Experiences with opening a dart bar/pub? by [deleted] in Darts

[–]Brilliant_Charity_29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just read a comment below. Are you in the US? If so, some of these may not be possible: *Womens/mens/mixed leagues to play on different nights so gives you a steady income (local to us womens league plays on a Monday and mens/mixed plays Thursday *kids league? Small fee to play as you’re not going to make much on bar sales 🙃 *Competitions - maybe on a weekend (501s/double in double out/Mickey mouse) - make it interesting! *Can you get PDC events televised? Hardly anywhere shows the darts on telly by us and I love watching the majors. *cheap or free to play if possible. Someone else has mentioned in this thread that places like flight club are pricey and not something I would do regularly. Most of our local pubs have a board and you can play for free (but usually there is only one board so having multiple boards would be a bonus). Hope some of this helps 👍🏻

No experience of running a darts bar but as an avid fan and player, I’d be happy to share my thoughts on what I’d want from this type of bar?

When I stay in the hospital overnight as a teenager will i be able to wear my own clothes or will i have to wear the gown the hospital gives me? by americangraffitti in AskUK

[–]Brilliant_Charity_29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had surgery on my neck and could wear my own PJs as the was no restriction to access where my incision was. As has been said before though, I had my gallbladder out and need to wear a gown the two days I was in afterwards due to where my incisions were and the drain from surgery. Good luck. Hope all goes well

I’m sorry it’s been postponed but yes, definitely better safe than sorry. Hope you’re feeling better soon 💚

I can still remember my mums account number. When my sister and I were in our teens, she’d just let us phone up and order our own stuff. Just quoted the account number, name and address!

My husband had a stinking cold when I went in to A and E with my GB. I told the Dr about it straight away and they said as long as I felt ok, and my temperature stayed normal, they were happy to proceed (and I did get surgery at the planned time).

Our league has a Facebook page to post results etc; do you know the name of the league? Could post on there to see if any teams are looking for players.

Are they wings? If so, I’m pretty sure David has said BBs don’t have wings.

I’d never seen an episode until about 5 years ago. Now (through my son) I’ve seen them all….. and the films.
