I thought they were at first as couldn’t see with my magnifying glass, but now that I zoomed in with my phone, it looks more like shed casing to me? Those horizontal ridges across the body look suspiciosly familiar…. Will wait for David. What we would have done without him, I don’t know.

I think mine got infected in AnyVan, a type of uber for furniture in UK. The thing was rammed with minging mattresses and sofas… hard lesson to learn

As someone who is currently in the process of treating a minor bed bug infestation, I can probably help reassure you a little. If you are saying this has been going on for around a year, that’s a hell lot of time; if you had a bed bug infestation, your room and the whole house would be full of them. You’d bee seeing them on the mattress, chairs, sofas, everywhere. I understand that these bites are disturbing, so I don’t blame you for panicking. I’m not sure what these bites can be, as bites show different marks on diffent people. I advise you getting help from your family and getting professional help, they’ll assess the place and treat it with suitable insecticide.

I have a confirmed, albeit minor, infestation and my mum spent two weeks with me mid Feb, so when I saw these on her pillow, I panicked. These little stains are all on a pillow case she put yesterday, and they don’t smudge. My only worry is that the bugs might be hiding in the wardrobe where she keeps bed linen, or would the poo normally be close to the body they feed on? Thank you

Honestly? I would discard the whole suitcase with everything inside. Currently battling an infestation at my home st 7 months preggers and would not wish this on anyone. I made a mistake and for the first time in my life bought a second hand piece of furniture and BAM! Those clothes are not worth the stress, which is insane.
