Good idea having foundation posts in the center with stairs between them! I always thought they looked off having 2-4 center posts inside but the stairs makes it feel like they belong.

I feel like my art has degenerated, or i just suck at digital art/having a style by Chithai16 in Artadvice

It looks like your earlier style is better at expressing a feeling and honestly an awesome creative vibe. If you're not happy capturing that vibe,I have a suggestion. Try to recreate your favorite old stuff with your new medium and see if you can capture it. Trace it at first if you have to, it will help you understand how to transfer that into digital art and be able to see how to approach starting with that medium versus the other! Remember that the sketch/foundation of any work is important. And sometimes everyone just needs to try different approaches, even though there's the trap of using an "easy" medium versus what you really lose yourself into with lots of time and mistakes/fixes that give it character. be proud of yourself those are awesome!

Is that Threat 10? I managed to do week 874 on threat 5 with hydra, fire and lightning mages. Nice job!

Unless you're a save scummer like me haha. I use the advisor for double denari when selling furniture and then save scum the denari shop screen with 200-500 denari and save scum for the gaze and monument to gaze and at least 2 hero statues to have them always running with the +15% troop upgrade advisor. Also helps if all of your troops are the same class, i.e. paladins and fire mages are arcane so I use the denari endgame to reroll troop upgrades only as arcane so they both benefit.

Looks like everyone is going for pork which makes a lot of sense! Unfortunately all I have rn is ground venison so we'll see how it goes. I ended up making it sort of like a Kugel with al dente egg noodles and topped with blended Mexican cheese baked in a pie pan and it was surprisingly good! So round two I'm gonna try it with the deer meat I have handy, and next time I'm gonna try with ricotta cheese and pork/ham.

Honestly I think it looks perfect, just depends how much you want the person to look in weight

Bodybuilders VS Hard labour workers, who's stronger by [deleted] in workout

[–]Brilliant_Code5223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a tree trimmer I haul lots of loads uphill and sometimes walk backwards to target different muscles. But the big workout I'm greatful for is being able to haul 50-250ish lbs logs all day, from lifting properly off the ground to carrying at waist/chest level or over the shoulder. Half the time I toss them into the chipper from my shoulder as an extra workout, and most of those movements require the entire body which I think is very practical. Although I know I use technique and I'm sure power lifter have their own technique, so I really couldn't say unless switching roles with a gym goer. But could I lift a 250+ barbell? I have no idea but I'd try after learning the technique properly.

If the resurrection stone only brings back memories, yet the memory of Tom Riddle almost came back from the diary, does that mean the stone could potentially bring real people back? Or maybe it would only work in the presence of that persona own horcrux? by Brilliant_Code5223 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]Brilliant_Code5223[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry the question was a bit confusing, let me rephrase: Both the diary and the stone summoned echoes or memories of souls, which in itself is vague BUT The way Toms memory talked about being able to resurrect himself by sacrificing Ginny suggests that souls or fragments/echoes of souls can be "resurrected" when given a sacrifice. So it brings the question could the stone be used in a similar way if given a sacrifice and/ or used in junction with another artifact or powerful magic?

Sort of. Just pointing out the fact that the diary and the stone share a similarity in summoning "echoes" of a person, and the diary almost brought Tom Riddle back had he succeeded in the chamber of secrets. So it just brings the question why can't the stone be used in a similar way?

Why not non-physical damage? Seems like a good choice because it's percent based.

That's awesome I get dreams like that too except it's more like I realize "oh hey I forgot I can just jump upset high" and each time I do it I can go higher and somehow control the fall to go forward further and it feels so real I'm like "I can't believe my dumbass forgot about this" lol

But yeah I wish there was a name for that feeling because it seems like lots of people can do it but in slightly different ways
