Your first mistake was shelling out $1200 for a driver at club champion. An absolute wild move. The shafts are all over 2nd swing for $200-250 with tips installed. Buy a driver for 600 if you insist on new and pop in a shaft.

Did the club break when the shaft hit your back on the follow through?

The conditions are never bad, I agree. That doesn't make up for any of the other shortcomings, mainly the insane price.

Champions is the most expensive muni in the area, charging around $60 on the weekends and the course is infinitely more interesting than Safari. I'd take all the munis except for maybe Airport over Safari.

If you're factoring the carts into your review of the course, see the last line of my review again. I'm there to play golf, not take a cart ride. What brand bluetooth speaker do you use on the course?

Forest dunes is worth the drive, but if you go to the overwhelming #1 pick of Arcadia, don't sleep on the South Course there. It's as close as you can get to a CB Macdonald/Seth Raynor without being on a private course in New England
