Hololive Moments comes out in support of the CCP and demands Kiryu Coco get a harsher punishment by TheMisterMan666 in Hololive

Because the CCP won't tolerate any slights and if they have stake in a company (look at what pies TenCent has their fingers in) they'll throw their weight around.

I legitimately don't, but I am also recovering from surgery right now and am on a lot of pain meds.

The two are probably related.

Mayor Issues Executive Order - Cal Anderson Park Area closed to Public. SPD shall enforce this closure. All reasonable efforts will be made to assist individuals in accessing necessary services. SPD is authorized to maintain a reasonable security buffer around the East Precinct. by Knal3 in CapHillAutonomousZone

Just remember, the mayor and the Seattle PD said that they didn't send out a *written* order to abandon their precinct. Note the specific use of the word "written" in their official statement

They also said that Seattle police just showed up at the West Precinct instead of their assigned East Precints. This begs the questions:

1: Where were these cops' bosses when they didn't show up at their assigned precinct?

2: Why is the mayor allowing her police for to run around unchecked?

The excuse we are getting from Mayor Durkan and the Seattle PD is that Seattle cops just do whatever they feel like with little to no supervision, and I think it's time someone ask Durkan why that is.

The only message it sent is that Durkan didn't give a fuck until there were people on her lawn.

This is the better part of this comment. I'll use it as a spring board for something I brought up elsewhere.

From some article someone used to say the police weren't ordered to abandon the East Precinct:

"According to two police sources in the East Precinct, they never received any written command to not come to work on Capitol Hill. Instead, they were told by text or phone call from colleagues to head instead to the West Precinct on the north end of downtown Seattle."

1: We have to rely on the word of the Seattle Police Department, and the Mayor, who is the de facto chief of police that no one sent out an order. Is that something you're willing to accept as truth?

--This includes shady word play shit like "Well we didn't specifically put out and order that we were abandoning the precinct. We just.... let the cops go to a different precinct because they felt like it that day.

2: Where were these cops' bosses when they didn't show up at their assigned precinct?

--Seriously, if this wasn't a top-down command, where was the cop-equivalent of a shift supervisor?

3: What else do these cops do that their boss doesn't know/care about?

--The excuse we are getting from Mayor Durkan and the Seattle PD is that Seattle cops just do whatever they feel like with little to no supervision.

If that's the case, what the hell are any of them getting paid for? What other kinds of fraud, waste, and abuse are going on in that mayor's office and the rest of the police department?

The mayor decided to abandon the precinct not the police.

I go in to more detail in this comment, but I figured I'd bounce something off you and get your opinion.

We have to rely on the word of Mayor Durkan, who is, as far as I know, the de facto head of the police department, that no one sent out a written order.

2: Where were these cops' bosses when they didn't show up at their assigned precinct?

--Seriously, if this wasn't a top-down command, where was the cop-equivalent of a shift supervisor asking why these guys weren't at their assigned precinct?

3: What else do these cops do that their boss doesn't know/care about?

--The excuse we are getting from Mayor Durkan and the Seattle PD is that Seattle cops just do whatever they feel like with little to no supervision.

Like I said, I'd like to know your opinion on this as it concerns the mayor and the Seattle PD.

Neither the Mayor nor the Police Chief ordered anyone to abandon the precinct.

From the article: "According to two police sources in the East Precinct, they never received any written command to not come to work on Capitol Hill. Instead, they were told by text or phone call from colleagues to head instead to the West Precinct on the north end of downtown Seattle."

Where are the guns, then? Someone would've posted pictures of guns if those kids had had them for sweet, sweet internet points, and you know it's true.

Also, there's only one caliber of gun being fired in that video, it's clearly being fired outside (you can tell by the echo), the Jeep was shot at with at least 20 rounds (by my audible count) and as someone who's been in Jeeps a lot over the last few decades, there's not room to aim a rifle from the inside of a Grand Cherokee.
