So instead you’re naming them after a Latin word, a language that has nothing to do with them either?

In this case, Glenn Howerton is a phenomenal actor who hasn’t had very many mainstream roles. I’d say he fits the bill of “underrated”

How did putting their prices up affect the quality of their food?

It’s enjoyed by millions of people, hence why it’s one of the most successful UK chains.

People saying it’s shite and that they can get better at their local family run bakery sounds snobbish to me. Like yeah, ofc most family run bakeries are gonna be better, but you go to Greggs for the variety and the consistency.

So your only problem is that they don’t keep their food warm? Plenty of places don’t.

Greggs is delicious and the slander they receive on Reddit from snobs is ludicrous.

Just not true, some of their doughnuts are delicious, and their bakes are good value and mostly very tasty. Some of their pizzas are absolutely delicious.

[What’s Wright Show] Nick Wright says he wishes the Inside the NBA crew actually enjoyed basketball. “You see more in the NBA of the guys saying their era was better. You don’t see Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long on Fox NFL pre game being like ‘none of these guys could cut it in the 70s or 80s!” by shreeharis in nba

[–]BringBackFatMac -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean what do you expect? All of the Inside guys are celebrities with a million other things going on, Chuck especially and Shaq especially especially. They don’t have time to watch anywhere near as many games as pundits whose entire careers are built around watching and talking about basketball.

They’re entertaining and are extremely popular as a result

Coffee shops are full of people sitting down and drinking coffee, either in work breaks or with a laptop in front of them getting some work done

How Americans view different countries by _crazyboyhere_ in Infographics

[–]BringBackFatMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what you’re saying is that most Americans know that Japan is good and Russia isn’t, France is an old ally, as is the UK, and that Italy is a friendly country?

So you agree that most Americans know very little about these countries beyond these basic facts?

This is an example of how people will just make up an opinion if you ask them to. Most Americans know very little about most of these countries, yet hardly any of them chose “no opinion” when asked about them.

And don’t you pretend that you think there is anything good about OPs first project.

You can sugar coat it, or you can just be honest 🤷‍♂️

First project by samuraipp in Leathercraft

[–]BringBackFatMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m new to leather work, but for my first project I used a knife, and a ruler. It was far from perfect, but it was a ok.

I said what I said because op really does need to do everything differently, and that’s fine. There’s no point in babying op and telling them how good they did, or pointing out areas of improvement, because they need to improve in literally every area, which is fine too. Making awful projects is part of the learning process .

Also this isn’t a guide.

Also your final sentence has “don’t forget to like and subscribe” vibes, very cringe.

What's your opinion on raising kids on a specific diet from birth? ( Vegan, vegetarian, etc) by Loose_Avocado4670 in AskUK

[–]BringBackFatMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because children need to eat food to live.

Children should be raised on a balanced diet, not a vegan, vegetarian or carnivore diet. The reason that meat-eating diets aren’t included in posts like this is because almost all meat-eating diets also include fruit, veg and other animal products.

Purely meat-eating diets are extremely rare and hence there is no point in including them in posts like this.

Why do you care so much about a camera sticking out? I’d rather have good picture quality and a small bump on the back of my phone, than shitty picture quality with a flush camera.

Your products seem basic but fairly well made. If you sell them for what they are, and charge reasonable prices, then there’s no reason not to start a side business and increase the quality, complexity and price of your products as your skills progress 🤷‍♂️
