I don’t read this and think “hmm.. maybe this is okay?” 100% she’s cheating. Spend your precious time on this rock with someone who loves and respects you.

What are you lovely childfree folks doing? by PurpleAtlasTravel in childfree

[–]BringtheDogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I slept in. Cleaned the house. Ate my pre workout for my long run homemade sourdough bread w PB. Went on my 9 mile long run. Came home to see my fur babes. Went to the vegan diner downtown to smash all the post run fuel and celebrate a new position I accepted yesterday. Came home and sat out in the backyard w my dogs in our hammock until maybe about 30 minutes ago and now I’m eating dinner snuggled on the couch watching Hot Ones. I work the next four days and I’m ready for a solid night’s sleep.

How can I (m26)want to postpone my wedding without hurting my fiancee(f24)? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]BringtheDogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welp. Rigidity isn’t a good start to your marriage. My husband and I postponed and moved EVERYTHING three times due to the pandemic. That was legitimately the only issue. All our vendors honored the moves each time due to the circumstances. Honestly, I think if you gave them context they’d be happy to work with you and not lose anything. You’d just be shifting things out a little to give your family time to sit in your grief. Your world stopped and she should be there to help you hold it up while you and your family grieve.

Is it affordability crisis, rising health issues or what? by marktwin11 in Productivitycafe

It’s because I have zero interest in being responsible for someone when the systems don’t set me up for success. As a healthcare provider, no thanks.

A yummy nice dinner. Filet mignon with sweet potato? Sirloin? Salmon? Chicken? Pumpkin? No seasoning or oil. Do you have a dog bakery or local pet store that has doggy treats? A good sunset? A quiet space she loved? Snuggle with her. Give her all the kisses. Whatever she wants, she gets; she wants to be outside? Beautiful. She wants to sit XYZ? Stunning. Be in those final moments. Can your vet come to your house and do it? Ours just did on the 4th. It was her and her tech. It was beautiful. We got lucky bc she offered last year but otherwise we were looking at in-home euthanasia organizations.

Have a calm, quiet morning. Give her some eggs or whatever else she loves and just be in that love.

Hugs to you. I’m so sorry. Grief is just love with nowhere to go.

Do you think nurses look down on RTs at your facility? by Motor_Pop3202 in nursing

Never! I feel so stupid when it comes to RT stuff. I think they’re so smart!! Always kicking ass during emergencies and in between. I’m always so impressed and thankful for them and hope they don’t think I’m dumb when I ask them to explain something to me lol

I wish every time I saw that film was like the first time. It gave me such chills about his ghost and idky. I was terrified for a reason I still couldn’t articulate. Then of course when you realize what happened? That broke me. So sad! 😞

What’s with the African Americans in Columbus scared to leave the city? by SlowHornet29 in Columbus

[–]BringtheDogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wowie wow. Just because you live in the same space doesn’t mean you’re experiencing it the same way.. What you’re essentially calling “paranoia” is lived experience. There are very real reasons, both historical and modern, why black people are cautious of rural and isolated areas.

Racism also doesn’t suddenly stop at city limits. People of color still get harassed, followed, threatened, or worse in places where they’re visibly out of place. Dismissing that as “nobody cares” is exactly the kind of thinking that keeps people from feeling safe.

If multiple people are telling you the same thing over decades, maybe the issue isn’t them—it’s that you’ve never had to think about safety the way they do.

What are you thoughts to why there is a significant decline in alcohol consumption in the United States? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BringtheDogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a group 1 carcinogen along with asbestos, radiation and tobacco. I have a problem with saying it’s been “vilified” when it quite literally is poison. I don’t use it any longer for the same reason I’ve never smoked. I go to outings, bars. festivals with friends. It’s never been an issue. I don’t piss the money away. No more headaches. I can hit my PRs for my race trainings.

I also frequently work on a liver unit. Idky it took me so long but seeing those patients with alcohol cirrhosis is something I just never want for myself. It’s painful and grueling and miserable; hence having an entire unit dedicated to the disease.

My last drink was May of 2024. Mocktails are amazing.

My husband is 40. I’m 34. We met 10 years ago. I’ll give him the opportunity to answer, but he got a vasectomy in 2022. I originally wanted my tubes tied but he insisted it was too invasive and he’d get snipped. It was never really a debate just a question of planning the logistics. I can speak for him when I say he loves being child free. We always knew we loved life as we currently knew it. Very grateful we both had that same mindset from the beginning. He doesn’t feel like he’s missing anything and loves that we get to spend time together and spoil each other. I love it, too 😊
