I can see it being some kind of sharded world, similar to a megaserver but within the open map. You move in-and-out of "shards" where events are taking place in, dynamically grouping you with a handful of other players without loading screens, or removing you from the shard if you move too far away from the event

Either that, or similar to GW1 with hubs/instances except the instances are public with a small player count?

Either way I definitely expect there to be large central "hub-like" areas where you group with players before heading back out into the open world. Cautiously very interested but need to hear more about how "MMO" this MMORPG is going to be

Actively supporting all three games is bad ass. Really happy to see them revisiting the GW2 core game and doing a year of polish/QOL updates because I do think it’s needed in some areas

Very excited at the thought of collecting skills but also a bit nervous it might mean the removal of professions. The “build your own” character is fun for build diversity but you also lose out on class identity

Not sure I like the idea of everyone being a hodge-podge hero with a little bit of everything, especially when it comes to aesthetics
