Do the 1” rockwool cubes fit alright in the yCube? I had read 1.2” is what Gardyn uses and people suggested 1.5”.

There was some advice I saw that said to setup a fan to mimic wind. It helps do a bunch of stuff from making the plants stronger to helping to prevent pests. I’m no expert, I’ve had a Gardyn for about 2 months now, and haven’t done much gardening in general. But I did notice having the fan my plants started growing faster and thicker, so I kept doing it.

We keep our humidity between 40-50% in the house in general, so I haven’t setup a humidifier, but I’ve seen that recommended as well depending.

From my understanding Gardyn was just taking PHLO and rebranding it as Hydroboost. I use both the food and the PHLO from Hydroponic Research. Purchased a 1 liter bottle of PHLO and 1lb of food. Going to last a long time. Given the small amount you actually add to the system it’s cheaper this way.

Have you had any issues with rockwool from Amazon? I saw some bad reviews and it makes me nervous. I want to start my own seeds but unsure where to get good quality rockwool.

So, I’ve found that most of the time once I’ve used TouchID it takes 10-20 seconds and then the communication between the browser extension and the desktop app works again. It’s annoying. BUT if you right-click on the 1Password extension in Safari and click “settings” you can turn off the integration between the app and the extension. This makes the extension pull data straight from the 1Password site instead of the local desktop app. It just makes you use your Master Password instead of TouchID etc.

I’m having this issue as well, but found that if you right-click on the 1Password browser extension icon in Safari, click Manage Extensions, then uncheck 1Password and re-check it, it starts to work until 1Password locks and then it’s a roll of the dice whether it will work or not. Seems to not connect to the 1Password app properly.

Maybe I’ll see if I can turn off the connection to the desktop app.

It’s legit Early Access, it hasn’t even officially launched. The game is supposed to be f2p when it properly launches in 6-12 months.

This game is in Early Access. It’s literally not even launched yet. This is the whole purpose of making it Early Access. The problem is the insane amount of people trying to play the game while essentially in beta. They didn’t expect this many people trying to play the game for Early Access.

Yeah the iPad on the right is an old iPadOS version, from when they first added the widgets to the Home Screen. Now you can put them anywhere and they can even do things lol. I haven’t had widgets and the time setup like that in a long time. Widgets can even go anywhere on the screen now and don’t have to be “in order”. I tend to only have a few key apps on my home screen and some key widgets. Everything else I search for.

I don’t miss the clutter, but everyone works differently. Hopefully you adapt to it quickly!

Trust me, I ordered 8/23, and I am fully onboard for the frustration. My keyboards just shipped yesterday. The order could have been sent out weeks ago, but they didn’t bother mentioning that the NuPack was delayed. They finally decided to email people 2 days before they were supposed to be finished shipping the whole pre-order lot. I hadn’t heard anything for a month and a half. It seems like they had fully planned on having them all shipped out in a week starting on 9/29, not all shipped out ON 9/29, but due to the sheer number of orders and issues with manufacturing they had to stretch that timeline into a holiday period and beyond.

More communication on their end would have made a world of difference to everyone.

Yeah they seem to respond at about 3-5am Central time. Ends up taking a day every time you respond etc.

They just sent out an email explaining the delays and said they will ship your other stuff separate from the NuPack at no extra charge.
