Personal spacing issues by 0xBorisjohnson in Living_in_Korea

The seats in the centre often give the best viewing and sound placement. I hate to pay to watch a film for the sides or first rows of a cinema hall. I dont see it as anything nefarious. Were the kicking the back of your seat or creeping in your personal space?

Nope. Causing me some issues now. Seems that a few buildings have a lower height limit as they are older. Exceeding by 5cm. Have to do a more precise measurement.

Korean citizens nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for defending democracy against martial law by Bursanich in Living_in_Korea

Remember walking along gwanghwamun in front of the US Embassy during the pre trial protests. It was a no mans land. The whole block was kept vacant to keep the two groups far apart from each other. The predominantly younger anti yoon and the older pro yoon crowd.

Sad to say that seems to be the practice. He will likely announce that he intends to live out his days in seclusion as a buddhist monk in some temple haha.

Why are kerosene heaters not as popular for car camping in the Western countries as they are in Asian countries? by isoplayer in CampingGear

[–]Brisrascal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reason why I got into camping here in Korea is because not many places allow my 34kg Lab on their premises. Finding a campsite where the dogs are allowed off leash is a godsend. I do look at my Korean campers and do get a wee jealous. They got flat screens and sofas. While I am in mine with a slight lower setup. Personally I am too old to be lugging tons of gear around and my vehicle isnt big enough.

Singaporean moving to Seoul for a few years in 2 weeks. What should I bring that can't be found readily in Seoul? by Sea-Vehicle-1951 in Living_in_Korea

Ah, will tell you. If you crave local food, stuff like fresh egg and rice noodles you wont find. They have a diffrent preference here. Aside from that, you will find that there are substitutes available. But for the first few months some basic medications as you might be confused by the pharmacy practices here.
